Hunter's POV

"I really like Mary ..." I told Juan bago ako magsalin ulit ng cuervo sa baso ko at ininom iyon.

"Then pursue her, anong problema mo?" Sagot nya naman, as expected from him. He would literally answer me kung anong una nyang maisip, wala talagang kwentang kausap. Palibhasa hindi pa naiinlove e, nasaan ba si Blaze? palagi nalang wala.

Nahalata nya siguro na hindi ako na-satisfied sa sagot nya kaya humarap sya sakin.

"Look, bro ... we're mad at you kasi kaibigan din namin si Khaz. You hurt her feelings, hanggang ngayon umiiyak pa nga daw but I respect your decision to just broke up with her because ayaw mo na. Some guy would literally just cheat and that would been the worst. It's been months, if you like Mary then pursue her, wag mong hayaan na pigilan ka ng mga tao na piliin kung anong makakakapag-pasaya sayo." Sabi nya, mas lalo lang lumalim ang mga iniisip ko habang tinititigan ko iyong cuervo na nasa baso ko.

How would I apply that pursue thing kung Iniiwasan na ako ni Mary, after that time na kinausap sya ni Khazzandra during my game. Iniiwasan nya na ako, mas lalo ko lang tuloy napapatunayan na gusto ko nga sya.

I missed her serious face kapag nagbabasa sya ng libro sa may coffee shop, her face when she's eating mochi icecream with me and her face when she was with kids in the orphanage. I adore on how her hearts goes for the kids na walang mga magulang. She was the purest girl I've ever met in my entire life. She's my own kind of Miss Universe.

Ang ganda nya din kasi talaga sa paningin ko, she has this morena skin and super black hair. Sobrang simple nyang manamit na noong una ko syang makita sa bar habang inis sya dahil tinago ni Zivawn iyong relasyon nya kay Ricci ay napatulala talaga ako tapos nag-vent out pa sya sa kotse ko ng frustration nya and there wala na ...!na-attract talaga ako.

Akala ko nga hindi ko na ulit iyon makikita pero totoo nga siguro ang destiny, na no matter what happened kapag para sayo ang tao kahit gaano sya lumayo sa iyon. In the end kayo padin ang magkakatuluyan.

If two points are destined to touch, the universe will indeed find its way to connect it. Even when all hopes seems to be lost, certain ties cannot be broken. They define who we are- and who we can become. Like in love; across space, across time, among paths we cannot predict. It always find a way for you to end up with the one who you meant to be with.

With Mary, I laugh harder, I feel myself more. I trust her with me, the real me. Alam mo iyong tipong kapag may narinig kang joke o nakitang kakaiba, sa kanya mo unang gustong sabihin. I love how we actually can relate to each other. I really do belong to her at ngayon na na sa akin na sya. I don't want to do things na makakapag-hiwalay sa aming dalawa.

"Bilisan mo naman, Kuya." Sigaw ni Dien at nauna nang lumabas sa condo ko, anong trip nito at nasaan si Mary? Noong nagising ako ng maaga kanina nandito pa sya, natulog lang ako ulit kasi gusto kong magbawi ng energy after a whole week training tapos biglang wala na sya.

It's saturday, and it's my birthday.

Iniwan nya talaga ako sa mismong birthday ko? I told her that I just want to celebrate here, just being with her would be the best gift for me pero nainis ata sa akin kasi tulog mantika ako.

"Saan ba tayo pupunta?" Tanong ko sa kanya, she let me take a bath at sinabihan na magbihis nang maayos. Is she treating me somewhere? aba, mukhang nagiging mabait na sa akin itong kapatid ko at ipaghahanda nya pa ako? Ang weird.

"Secret nga, dali na. Just go to this place nalang." Sabi nya tapos pinakita iyong waze nya sa akin, pinatong nya iyong sa cellphone holder ko sa may dashboard para makita ko. Sinunod ko nalang sya, ewan ko kung anong trip nya ngayon pero tinatamad akong mag-reklamo. Hindi nya naman siguro ako ipapahamak.

Nakarating kami sa isang bar, pamilyar 'to. Hindi ko lang matandaan kung kailan ako nakapunta dito, it was an open bar tapos you just drink while listening to the band na nagpe-perform sa stage.

"Let's go!" Sabi ni Dien nang makababa na ako sa sasakyan after kong pumarada at hinila ako papasok sa loob. Wala namang tao, anong meron dito?

"Dito ka lang, may kukunin lang ako sa labas Kuya." saan niya tapos lumabas ulit, I just sat on one of the chairs and waited for her then biglang lumabas si Mary sa stage. She was holding a mic, lalapitan ko sana sya pero she motioned me not to kaya umupo ako ulit.

What is this? Hindi ko alam pero napapangiti ako ngayon, kakantahan nya ba ko? Tangina ang bakla pero bat kinikilig ako?

"Hi, just stay there. May gusto lang ako sabihin." Sabi nya, buti mag-isa lang ako dito kasi nakakahiya na namumula ako ngayon.

"Love, happy birthday. I don't know kung anong ireregalo ko sayo because I know na kaya mo namang bilhin lahat ng bagay na gusto mo kaya sana magustuhan mo kung ano mang hinanda ko para sayo ngayon. Gusto ko lang sabihin na, I never really thought I'd fall inlove again but ..." She said then I don't know but my heart seems to melt when she starts singing 'When I met you by Apo Hiking Society.'

And there, naalala ko na ... na dito ko nga pala sya unang nakita. I really like girls who can sing well, lalo na kapag iyong pagkanta galing sa puso nya. I will always been hooked with her voice, I became a fan from then little did I know that she'll be the great love of mine.

I just listen to her, I really love her voice. The first thing I ever wanted to hear in the morning na kahit nga sinisigawan nya na ako kinikilig pa din ako.

Bumababa sya tapos lumapit sya sa akin, she sang in front of me na hindi ko mapigilan iyong sarili ko sa pag-ngiti ko. Inarkila nya ba ang buong bar na ito? wala kasing tao.

"Happy Birthday, Love." Sabi nya after nyang kumanta tapos may binigay syang maliit na box sa akin, I open it and saw a couple ring.

"It was a promise ring." Sabi nya tapos sinuot nya ang isa then kinuha nya iyong kamay ko.

"Love, I know I can't predict the future but I wanted to promise to you that in 5 years I will still be into you. In 5 years I want your last name, I want you to be the father of my kids hindi lang kay Mochi. I wanted to Marry you ... can you take this ring and promised me that we'll still be together until the end?" Tanong nya.

"I should be the one doing this ..." Sabi ko sa kanya, I should be the one who'd propose to her.

"You did a lot of things for me, hindi ko nga lang afford ngayon pero gusto din sana kitang ipa-billboard e ... Hindi naman issue kung sinong nag-propose diba? I just want to assure you that in years time, I will still be with you." Sabi nya, I smiled.

Amused and falling Inlove again.

"Yes ... it's a yes. I'll marry you after 5 years or if magbago ang isip mo, agahan natin okay? para magkaroon na ng kapatid si Mochi, malungkot sya mag-isa." Sabi ko, pinitik nya ang noo ko bago nya nilagay iyong singsing sa kamay ko.

"Happy Birthday, Love ..." Sabi nya, hahalikan ko sana sya pero nagsilabasan iyonh mga demonyo. Akala ko pa naman wala talagang tao dito pero nandito pala ang buong team ko, tapos nandoon din iyonh parents ko pati ang parents at mga kapatid nya.

They were singing Happy Birthday to me.

I just look at Mary and smiled at her kahit na inaasar ako ng mga gago kong kaibigan dahil namumula ako. I was just happy that she came into my life.

They say that there are 3 different kind of love that you will experience in your lifetime; first love opens in the young-age, we usually calls it the puppy love. The second one is the painful love, its the hard one. The love that teaches you lessons and makes you stronger, and the third one, the one who comes blindly with no warning. It creeps on you silently, you don't go looking for this love because it's the one who'll comes to you ...

And for me that was Mary, she was my unexpected love. The love I wanted to keep for the rest of my life.

Sabi nila loving her was a mistake, na pagsisisihan ko daw pero hindi naman ako nagsisi. I could literally say that I'm contented with my life with her now.

If falling for her means I dropped the ball then I would say that it was my best mistake after all.
