Draco and Marc were sitting in the living room of the Manoir of the Magindaras. The living room was wide and cream-coloured drapes were decorated on every one of the tall windows as the mild sunlight went through the window, illuminating the room. The room was not dark like the Malfoy Manor, it was the opposite of it because of the white-coloured walls and light-coloured furniture. The only thing that was a bit dark was the wooden brown tables.

They have appointed a meeting with the mother of Y/n. This is for Marc to discuss some things about his Narrative Ballet, and of course, this is Draco's chance to ask her mother's permission if Y/n could be the inspiration for his upcoming book.

The young men heard shoes clicking on the floor and turned their heads to see Mrs Magindara with her assistant, Ms Ysabelle.

"I shall leave you now, Ma'am." Said Ms Ysabelle and left, closing the door.

"Good morning, ma'am." Marc greeted as he and Draco stood up.

"Morning," A small smile appeared on Mrs Magindara's lips, gesturing her hand at them to sit down. "And you must be the Draco. You met my daughter on your last visit here, yes?"

"Yes," He replied with politeness in his voice. "I do have, ma'am."

"Very well then," She smiled and turned her head as she took a seat across the two and rested her hands on her lap. "I do hope you had a pleasant time meeting her. She's very good at entertaining her guests as the others would say."

Marc almost choked on his tea upon hearing Mrs Magindara's statement, for he knew and has witnessed that Y/n almost shot Draco's ears. Draco complained that day, after meeting with Y/n, that she was very likely to kill him and he could imagine that the time will come that Y/n would be the one to bury him in his graveyard.

If only you were there, ma'am, you would've seen what your daughter made me do. He stated in his mind.

Oh, how Draco wants to rant and expose her to her dearest Mama. He wanted to tell her mother about how awful and rude she was to him and about how she purposely ignored his presence.

"She's quite lovely, Ma'am." What a lie. He wanted to take back what he just said.

"That's quite good to hear." She uttered. "If I may ask, how was your first month working at the Opera House?"

"Actually, ma'am," Marc interrupted. "He's not truly working at the theatre, he's actually a friend of mine, who happens to want to speak to your daughter."

"Speak to her? By whatever do you mean?" Mrs Magindara gave Marc a questioning look, hoping that Draco is not a suitor.

Yes, Y/n's mother, Mrs Magindara, doesn't want her daughter to get married in the near future, for she wants her daughter to focus on her career, and that is to be known worldwide as Ballerina. Although that is not only the reason, another reason is that she believes that love is a distraction for her daughter's career, just one man and her daughter will be swooped away from what she and Mrs Magindara have worked hard for.

"Draco wants to write a book with her as his inspiration, Ma'am," Marc told, which made Mrs Magindara's heart calm down.

"Oh, I see," she smiled softly again. "And have you spoken about it with her?" She asked Draco.

"Yes, although, she still wasn't sure about it." Another lie. "That is why I wanted to talk to you, ma'am."

"If only I knew that her mother would agree, I would've spoken to her in the first place," Draco exclaimed whilst walking down the hallway of the Opera House, to the part where dancers practice.

It was already half an hour since they have both arrived at the Grand Opera House, and Draco couldn't seem to get over the fact that he finally had the opportunity to make Y/n his inspiration. The only thing that he should do now is...make her talk to him — Well, if she would, especially when he made her cry that evening.

This made him think that even though he had her mother's permission, Y/n would still look at him with disgust and would still refuse to talk to him.

While he was just thinking of her, they both encountered each other when Y/n went out from the left hallway.

Draco expected her to glare at him with disgust, however, she did not. She only just look at him coldly and walked off.

"That's unusual of her," Marc stated. "Something must be off."

Draco just stood there silently, knowing that he was the reason why Y/n doesn't feel alright around him.

And of course, Marc has his ways of knowing why she acted that way, and that is he dug inside Draco's mind, reading everything that has happened.

"For goodness sake, Draco." Marc sounded disappointed. "Why did you even use her necklace to fight against her?!" He whispered.

"H...how'd you know?" Draco glared at him.

"Legilimency."

"Fuck."

"You shouldn't have done it," Marc stated.

"Why?" Draco asked, eyeing Marc up and down and thinking of why such a necklace would be valuable to her.  "It's just a necklace."

"Just necklace?"

"What more could it be?" He scoffed.

"How stupid can you be, Draco?"

"Wait, are you scolding me?"

"Yes, especially when you are so blind to see things through," Marc stated. "You just made yourself more arrogant to her, and not to mention, you made her cry. Did you even see how that necklace means so much to her? Have you not recognized her eyes that day, despite that you can't read her mind?"

"Just get to the point, Marc." Draco sighed in frustration. "Why is that necklace valuable to her?"

"Oh, right, you don't read newspapers," Marc replied. "The necklace has ashes of her father's hair."

"Wh..what?" Draco gave Marc a questioning look. "Isn't her father buried at their summers house?"

"Glad you know that, but to answer your question...Yes, her father is buried at their summer house. However, they have cut some of his hair and burned it, and then they combined the ashes on the melted silver."

"And that's her necklace? The tiny heart pendant?"

"Yes."

"Fuck sakes."

"You should really talk to her let alone apologize."

Draco knew he did a wrong thing and it just pushed him further away from her. And now, he felt guilty for what he did...He felt like he wanted to throw himself into the sea (If that's possible for him to do so).

"I really did something stupid, didn't I?" He sighed.

"You really asked?"
