October 31st in the evening, and it has been weeks since the Swan Lake narrative ballet was held in Palais Garnier and ever since that day she hasn't had a single sight of Draco anywhere. She thought that he might've finally left her for good.  She didn't bother asking Marc and Mr Lemmington about his whereabouts because it might make her look desperate for him, and she really was until now.

And now here she was, standing alone at a Halloween Party in the Lemmingtons, dressed in Christine Daae's masquerade ball costume — the top was in gradient colours of blue and pink and her skirt pink with stars dangling on it — without a phantom by her side. She didn't even know why her mother dressed her as Christine. It was rather odd to think. What was Mrs Magindara trying to do that she wasn't aware of? But perhaps it's because she fancies watching the Phantom of the Opera every time it is shown on Palais Garnier and reading its novel. She remembered one time when her Itay surprised her Inay with tickets for the show.

"Y/n!" An all too familiar face waved at her, dressed as Cher from Clueless in her well-known yellow plaid outfit.

"Pat." A smile of relief appeared on her face.

"My dear cousin, ba't ka mag-isa dito sa gilid?" She gave her a glass of lemonade. [Translation: "Why are you alone here in the corner?"]

"Hiding." She chuckled.

"From who?"

"Anyone who wants to dance with me." She laughed too as she took a sip of her lemonade.

"No wonder you're wearing your mask, Daae," She joked.

"Stop calling me that." She playfully rolled her eyes, smiling as she took the mask off due to the reason that she felt hot and that she felt like she needed something cold to drink.

Lucky her there were a lot of people covering her from the corner, making herself unrecognizable to any man who wanted to dance with her and even confess their feelings to her. In fact, she didn't truly plan on coming this evening. She only felt that she needed to come because of Mr. and Mrs. Lemmington. That is why she allowed her mother to let her dress up as Christine Daae without the Phantom.

"Ms Y/n?" Another familiar face recognized her. A familiar brown-haired man with his dashing green eyes.

"Frederick?" However, she wasn't sure if this was the man she met at the club, and wasn't it a coincidence that he was dressed up as the Phantom?

"Yes, it is me. you look rather unsure if it is me." He chuckled. "But I do hope you returned safely that evening."

"I did," She smiled. Fatima, however, looked rather confused about what was going on, especially when she hadn't met this man before, and what even surprised her was that her cousin, Y/n, met a man at a club. "My cousin helped me get home. And oh, forgive my rudeness, this is Fatima Magindara, my cousin. Pat, this is Frederick..."
