It has been two months since Fatima rejected Marc's confession because of the fact that she doesn't feel the same feeling towards him, for she only likes women. But what could Marc do? He knew he couldn't change her because it is her life, not his. So, he respected her decision, despite the fact that it'll cause him heartbreak. However, he has moved on and accepted his heartbreak.

Most people wouldn't talk to or wouldn't become friends with the person who rejected them, but Fatima and Marc, they're still friends. They would sometimes go around France to let Fatima learn the flaws and beauty of this country.

However, while Fatima and Marc are out of town, Draco and Y/n were at the beach, where they first went together for his book — and of course, this meet-up was still for the book, nothing more, nothing special.

Y/n was under an umbrella and was sitting on a beach cloth, wearing a sundress fit for the beach whilst reading a newspaper — she really loves reading the newspaper like her father. And reading about the daily news every day made her feel like her father was still with her reading the newspaper together, stating their opinions, and laughing when something comes up hilarious or dumb.

A soft smile crept up to her lips as she reminisces all the memories she has with her father. What she didn't realize was that tears were slipping away from her cheek, falling onto the newspaper, which blurred the ink on it. She wiped the tears away immediately so that no one would see.

Draco, on the other hand, just came back from a nearby store to buy them snacks. But he slowly stopped his pace when he saw her looking down at the newspaper in front of her as she tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear, revealing her smiling pinkish lips and rosy cheeks.

He never got to see her like this, looking so sweet and pure unlike what he sees in her every day — Proper and Elegant, or perhaps mean. Looking at her made his heart flutter as if there were butterflies inside of it. He was unsure of what he felt just now, so he disregarded it.

"What are you reading?" He asked as he approached her, which made Y/n look at him.

"Just about an orphanage opening up next year." She smiled.

Then again, Draco felt the fluttering feeling — not in his heart, but in his stomach. It hurts him and he truly couldn't explain why.

"Are you alright?" She asked whilst folding the newspaper and placing it back inside her tote bag.

"It's nothing," He cleared his throat, sitting down next to her with a wide gap between them, of course, and placed the paper bag of snacks in between them.
