They both got their way back to Sirmione and Draco felt disappointed about his supposed-to-be confession to her. Well, how would he confess when he always got interrupted at a perfect time? When he was about to admit his feelings to her in front of the bronze statue of Juliet, an old lady spoke to them. When he tried his second chance while they were driving back to Sirmione with a beautiful view of town lights, Y/n fell asleep, and when he tried to take his third chance while they were having dinner at a restaurant with a view of lake garda shining from the moon's light, he got interrupted by the waiter who gave them their food. And now, everything he wanted to happen just failed.

Lying down on his head with his thoughts running wild. He couldn't sleep, yes, for his heart had been aching for these feelings to come out of its cage and let the young lady hear its voice. He also wanted to attempt his fourth chance tonight but she might be already sleeping at this hour, for the girl must be tired from their trip this day.

Draco sat up from his bed, sighing and pressing his feet on the carpet. He rubbed his eyes and started walking out of his bedroom after he had opened his bedroom door.

Perhaps water could help me to sleep, He thought.

However, when he walked out of his room, making his way to the kitchen, he noticed someone leaning against the tall window frames whilst this person watched the lake glisten from the moon's light. The house is indeed only nearby or perhaps next to the lake and it is one of the many reasons why Draco loves to temporarily stay in this house whilst visiting Sirmione.

"I didn't know you were awake." Y/n got startled by Draco's voice, causing her to turn her head to him. "Are you alright?" He asked, his eyes never leaving hers as he filled his glass with water.

"I just had a lot of thoughts," The girl smiled softly and Draco melted again, that it even almost made him choke on his glass of water.

"Oh," He placed down the glass and walked towards the window to where she was standing. "What does seem to be keeping you awake at midnight?"

"It's nothing," A soft sigh escaped her lips, frowning whilst her arms crossed upon her chest.

"You told me you have a lot of thoughts and yet you replied it seems to be nothing." He chuckled, leaning against the window frame on the opposite side of her. "Though, it seems to be bothering you."

Y/n looked back at the window. No words were uttered from her mouth, only leaving Draco wanting answers. But Draco highly respects her decision that she didn't want to tell. After all, he is in love with her.

"I should better get back to my room," He smiled softly and walked away, only taking a few steps until Y/n stopped her by calling his name.

What if this was his chance to confess to her? Or what if not?
