Everything was white in her surroundings, except an elegant blue couch and a beige persian rug underneath it, and there she sat all day, staring at the blank space. She isn't wondering why there were always bookshelves appearing out of nowhere whenever she thought of something she needed or even a bed for her to lay or a board game for her to play alone or anything that she needed. It's like somehow a magical world. She didn't wonder why she doesn't get bored in the same routine. Never even wondered why everything around her was white and could hear voices from above that she didn't know where. Though she was aware of who those voices were, she just didn't know where to find them.

And there she sat, reading yet another book she had found on the bookshelves that appeared for her and waiting for the voices that made her feel at ease. But something happened that never once occurred. Something that she did not control through her mind.

It was her father sitting next to her, staring up at the abyss.

"Itay?" Her eyes widened and her mouth was slowly agape. "But I thought you— Wait, have I died?"

He averted his eyes away from the abyss and looked at his child. He somehow looked real, alive and well like he didn't pass away 12 years ago.

"You're not dead, anak." He laughed as his eyes squinted. ("Anak" means 'child'.)

"Oh." A sigh of relief escaped her mouth. "But...have you come to take me?"

But her father ignored her question and looked back up at the wide abyss, with a soft gleaming smile on his lips. She missed him dearly. She missed the warmth she received every time she heard her father's voice or just by seeing him. She felt loved and safe around him, and now, here he was, sitting beside her.

"I missed you, Itay." A tear slept away from her eyes. "Please do not leave Inay and me again."

"I never left you and your mother." He chuckled, looking back at her. "I am always here." He pointed to where her heart was. "I am always watching you and your mother, and...you know, your mother tried all her might to protect you."

"But she never laid her eyes on me, never even spent time with me like when you're still here." She sobbed.

"She missed you, anak." He said. "I know you know she tried to protect you. You'll remember it soon." It left her rather confused.

"Itay, you never answered my question earlier." She uttered. "Have you come to take me?"

A smile appeared again on his lips and spoke, "You do know I cannot do that."

She only stared at him, wondering about the reason why he was here with her if not taking her with him. Then that is when she heard a voice from above. A voice that she hadn't heard much lately. The voice that she has been longing to hear.

Draco's.

He was crying and she could feel his cold hands on her left hand.

Oh, how she missed him dearly — to hold his hands, to admire the face she always adores, and to kiss him passionately. She missed everything about him.

"Naghihintay sila sayo, anak." He held her hand that was holding firmly onto her hospital gown. "Kailangan mo nang bumalik sa kanila."  [Translation: "They are waiting for you, my child."  & "You need to go back to them."]

"But, Itay..." Her lips quivered and tears were already running down her cheeks. "Hindi na kita makikita ulit..." [Translation: "I wouldn't be able to see you again..."]

"Just know I will always be with you, anak."

A light suddenly flashed through her eyes and her father disappeared from her sight. Her surroundings started shaking as if there was an earthquake until everything went black. She could finally feel her body and hear his voice loud and clear. Then her eyes slowly opened, still blurry at her first sight, looking up to the ceiling and little by little her vision came back and saw Draco staring at her, eyes swollen and smiling with his heart's content.

"Y/n..." His lips were quivering yet grinning.

She finally woke up from her deep sleep.
