Y/n woke up from the sun shining through the window and Draco was only next to her, still sleeping whilst hugging her in his arms and his bare chest pressed against her cheek. She was still unsure if she could walk if ever she got out of bed. Last night was quite rough that it almost broke her back, and the scratches of her nails were still visible on Draco's back.

They have been staying here for already almost three weeks since the day they left France. They both agreed that they should stay in Verona for another 2 two weeks, cherishing this place, where their relationship started. Y/n felt like she only met him yesterday at the Wedding Party of Mr Lemmington, his dearest friend, and how they met was indeed kind of not pleasing but it was a funny encounter and she finds it unique in some ways.

"Good morning, beautiful. You woke up early," Draco finally woke up, tracing his fingers on her cheek until it reaches her chin as he placed a peck of a kiss on her lips.

"Should I not be?" She giggled, placing her hand on his chest and tracing her fingers on her it.

"Do you want another round?" A mischievous smirk was written on his lips as his eyes darkened. Then he pulled her closer to him, leaning on her ear and whispered, "I love how warm you are when I'm inside you."

Her eyes widened as she gasped, a blush appearing on her cheeks as she pushes him away whilst he laughed and pulled her back to him. He then tucked strands of her hair behind her ear, leaving a kiss on her forehead, her nose, and her lips.

"I'm only joking, mi amada." He uttered. "I know your hips hurt, along with those legs. But it won't hurt for another round, won't it?" He joked again.

A blush appeared again on her cheeks, making her almost look like a tomato.

"Draco!"

"Perhaps maybe tomorrow night."

Draco has finally brought her a corgi as a present. It was expensive, yes, but he didn't mind as long as it is for the person he loves the most in the whole world other than his mother, and besides he's got a lot of money due to having a lot of sold books. Sometimes his books would sell out and it did quite make him feel secure about his needs and wants. He may not be rich as he used to — and yes, he's still the heir of the Malfoy name — but he feels much more proud of himself that he's surviving on his own with the money he earned alone.

Y/n went out with the old couple, who owns the rental house, to accompany them in buying groceries. Draco knew that Mr and Mrs Fiore would always have their grocery shopping this Tuesday, so that is why he told them to take Y/n with them for a while so he could buy his surprise for her.

Draco looked down at the puppy in his hands whilst it was gazing at him with an adorable grin. He admits that this little creature could melt her heart within just seconds due to the reason that it has melted his heart too. He also added a red bow on its collar, located at the back of its neck, which made it much more adorable. A while ago, while he was choosing a puppy to buy in the pet shop he went to, this puppy caught his attention, for it was the only corgi in the shop. However, this puppy rather gave him a look that seems to be uninterested in him, somehow giving him a sidelong glance of disapproval. But he didn't have a choice but to buy, for he knew that Y/n favours corgis due to her father.

"Draco, I'm-" She froze as soon as her eyes laid on the little creature that Draco was holding. "Where did you get that?" She sound surprised, couldn't much form words from her lips, for she couldn't process what she was seeing right in front of her very eyes.

"I bought it for you, darling." He smiled, approaching her as he carried the little creature and handed it to her.

"But, Dray, you shouldn't have."

"I know you wanted a dog, so I bought you one. What shall you na—" And with that, her one arm was already wrapped around him whilst the puppy, which was in her other arm, stared at them with glistening eyes and tongue sticking out of its mouth. "What shall you name her?" He continued with his words whilst embracing her back.

"I do not know," They parted from each other's embrace. "I haven't thought of what to name her yet."

"What about Poppy?" Draco suggested, which caused the dog to give him another sidelong glance of scorn.

"Would you like the name Poppy?" She cooed, her eyes laid on the dog in her arms. However, the dog seems to be pleased with the name, showing a smile to her, as long as it came from her. She much prefer Y/n rather than Draco, who was the one who brought her from the pet shop.

"I swear, I think she hates me." He glared at the little creature.

"Just give her time, Dray." She gave a kiss on the top of the corgi's head. "I'm sure she'll warm up to you like I did when we didn't along back then. Isn't it that right, Poppy?" A chuckle left her lips, remembering when she still despises him, and the dog responded with a bark, agreeing with her statement. "However, Poppy was my first dog's name, but it'll do." She smiled whilst making her way to their shared bedroom, which was once Draco's bedroom, and Draco followed her.

"But what about me? Don't I get a kiss too?"
