"Good morning, Mistress"

The head maid bowed to greet the woman who walked out of the room in her husband's shirt.

Since Vera did not want to take a bath, she just wore Ezra's shirt he offered last night. "Morning"

Vera flashed a smile at the head maid. But then she frowned.

Why did the head maid seem to be blushing over something?

What was happening?

"Ma'am and Master are waiting for you in the dining room, Mistress"

The head maid notified. Leading the way from the front as the woman went after her cluelessly.

"My! Good morning, Vera!"

Just as the woman stepped into the dining room, Diana beamed.

Causing Vera to rush up near to the woman and share a hug tightly.

"Is there any good news, mother?"

Noticing the light atmosphere, Vera threw a query in curiosity after sitting beside her husband.

"I thought you would cover them the whole day" Ezra suddenly voiced.

Attracting the woman's attention fully. She turned her head with a slight frown to express confusion.

But as the man's eyes stared down at her neck, realization hit her.

Making her eyes widened.

Shit. She forgot about the hickeys the man gave to her last night.

How could she forget about this when she literally was brushing teeth while looking in the mirror?!

"I should change some clothes. It is kinda freezing this morning"

Awkwardly, Vera covered her neck with her hands. Cheeks reddening.

The reaction of the woman managed to tickle the two somehow. "Don't be shy, Vera"

Diana giggled.

Only to make the woman lowered her head in embarrassment.

"You don't have to change. They do not mind at all. No one can tell you it is inappropriate here"

Ezra raised his hand and caressed his wife's head gently.

It was a tender behavior Diana liked to witness. Her son, he had become soft lately because of a certain woman named Vera Charlene.

That's it! This was what Diana had been wishing to encounter.

"Vera, I am having tea in the garden after having breakfast. Why don't you join me?" Diana questioned.

She noticed how the woman was becoming quiet in embarrassment.

To break the silence, Diana changed the topic for the woman.

Ezra also did not tease his wife anymore. He continued the meal.

"Oh, I would like to!" Vera grinned.

"Great. I have finished breakfast. Go prepare some tea in the garden"

Diana ordered to the maids nearby. "Understood, Ma'am" Like that, the maids and Diana left the room.

Leaving the married couple behind.
