Stone held Moon's hand as they wove through the crowd of vibrant and noisy people. Moon who has never been to the place before, tried her best to keep up with Stone's agile footsteps, and at the same time she tried not to make body contact with anybody as most of them reeks of alcohol and sweat as well as other unpleasant smell.
When they finally made it to the front row, she let out a sigh of relief and clutched onto her small bag tightly, suspicious of the funny looking people in the hall. Her eyes moved from left to right, trying to make sense of what was happening around. She felt like her ear drums were on fire due to the aggressive shouts coming from people inside the hall, not even caring if anybody hears them or not. A large group of people gathered at a particular table with money in their hands as they hollered at each other to be fast and get out of the line. Curious about what they were doing, she tugged at Stone's shirt to get his attention before pointing towards the gathering, he smiled at the view
"What are those people doing over there?!" She had to talk louder than necessary for him to hear her
"They are betting on the wrestlers!" Her brows furrowed
"Seriously?!"
"Yes! It is usually a brutal fight! One must accept defeat for the other to be the winner, sometimes people even die in the ring!"
"what?! And his opponent still gets to be the winner?!"
"why not! That is why it is called a Dark room! Once you enter that ring, there is no turning back. You either fight to keep your life or fight to lose it!"
"That sounds barbaric!"
"Just relax and enjoy the fight!"
"Are you not scared that something might happen to your brother?!" Stone smirked
"He has plenty of fans here, he is like a celebrity! Most of these people you see bet on him because he has never lost a fight in that ring!"
"There is always a first time to everything you know!"
"Hopefully this night is not going to be the first, if that is what you mean! just have faith in him. If it makes you feel better, women Wrestle too! theirs is even more fierce! they are like monsters, they show no mercy!"
"I feel nauseous!"
"I know what will help you calm down, let's go!"
"where are we going?" Stone held her hand again and walked off to a random direction, away from the noisy crowd. When they reached a large well lit hallway, her eyes landed on a young girl who was busy shoving her tongue down the throat of a man old enough to be her grandfather.
"ew" She shook her head in disgust and looked away from them, but as if that wasn't enough eyesore, she saw a young couple seriously going at it on the floor of the hallway, not giving a care about the people around
"what the hell is this place, Sodom and Gomorrah?" Stone chuckled
"i think it's worse" Stone replied
"these people are going straight to hell" She declared as her eyes widened at the things unfolding in the hallway. While she was still in shock of the atrocious acts going on in the hall, she mistakenly ran into something solid causing her to stumble back, if not for Stone who had a firm grip on her body, she would have fallen with her ass kissing the floor.
"Are you okay?" Stone asked in a worried tone and she nodded. Feeling a little bit dizzy from the impact, she rubbed her eyes before opening it to see who she ran into. When her eyes fell on the very tall, bulky guy that stood like a giant in front of them, every part of his body looked like it was made of iron, he looked like nothing could harm him. Do we really have such people existing on this earth? she asked herself, still in a daze. Her brows knitted together when she saw his group of friends smirking down at her
