Once, there lived a pair of twins who were completely identical from their head to their toes. The two spoke with the same intonation, the same drops and rises in their speeches, the same soft voice. The people around them always threw the two the same uneasy look, as though uncertain of their own vision. Or maybe they just didn't feel comfortable around them.

Both were named Ayesha and Anvesha.  Being identical meant that no one could really figure out who was who.  They shared a mental bond that was so great, they knew when the other was injured

Like the time when Ayesha accidentally cut her fingers on the fence, Anvesha jumped up and spilled the paint on her canvas, and the tiniest mark appeared on her finger.  Or the moment Anvesha stepped on the nail, and Jill woke up crying, a nail-shaped red dot blooming under her foot

It was a curse, they decided and decided to keep it a secret.  The townspeople were not against burning witches alive.  Exactly the same day a suspected witch drowned in the lake

So when Anvesha was hit by the car, Ayesha was out in the cold for three days.  Anvesha is buried as soon as possible to help Ayesha deal with the loss.

When Ayesha woke up she was beyond sorrow.  She cried all morning, tearing pieces of her hair.  Her mother finds him sitting in a daze in Anvesha's bedroom, her nails cracked and covered in blood, wounds on her hands that looked like they might have come from a car tyre.
