[A/N]: I know I keep saying I'm sorry, but it's honestly all I can say right now. These past two weeks have been nothing but final exams, finishing up papers, and trying to maintain my social life. And for falling behind, I apologize. I hope this chapter will make up for all of it.

Ricky's POV

"Connor," I utter out. "I want to be with Connor."

A huge smile quickly grew on my face. The more I thought of being with Connor holding my hand, hugging me, kissing me, and being my boyfriend...my...boyfriend. As that last thought crossed my mind, my grin increased to such an enormous size that my mouth was starting to hurt. A huge wave of energy pulsated throughout my body and I had no idea how to release all this happy energy. Only one thing could come to my mind, Connor.

I turn to the door and rush out of the apartment, slamming the door behind me. I ran down the hallway to the elevator. I press the up button and wait for the elevator to come to me. However, my impatience got the better of me. So, I ran to the stairs and sprinted up the stairs. I climbed three flights of stairs until I reached Connor's floor. I make it out of the stairwell and run to Connor's apartment. As I approached his apartment, I was panting like crazy from exerting all of my energy to get up here. I frantically knock on the door.

The door swings open and I am met with the most beautiful green eyes that I have ever seen in my life. Connor's eyes looked worried as he stared at my exhausted appearance. "Are you okay," Connor asks.

            "I'm...I'm fine," I answer. "I just...I wanted to...I mean...I."

            "Spit it out," Connor says.

            "I choose you," I say.

            "What," Connor asks surprised.

"I...I...I choose you, Connor," I say, slowly starting to catch my breath. "I want to be your boyfriend."

"Ricky, I...I don't know what to say," Connor utters out in shock. "What about Kian?"

"I'll always love Kian, but I'll never love him the way I love you right now in this moment," I say.

"So, you broke up with him," Connor says with a smile.

"I...no," I say, my body feeling deflated. "No, I haven't broke up with him yet."

"Oh...I see," Connor says, his smile vanishing. "Ricky, I..."

"I know, Connor," I say. "I know. I'm going to break up with Kian the second I see him. I think things have been over for a while. We've been pretty distant lately."
