Shane’s POV

Ricky and I drive up to his place and I pull over and park. “So, this is your place,” I ask.

            “Yep,” Ricky says.

“Cool, this place looks nice,” I say.

“Well, I’ll see ya,” Ricky says.

            “Okay, later,” I say.

I then drive away and head to my place. Well, now that Ricky knows of my plans on breaking up Joey and Connor, I’m going to have to get rid of him too. However, if I’m going to do this, I’m going to have to get rid of them at the same time. Ricky will probably call Cat tonight. So if I’m going to do something, I need to do it tonight. I hope Ricky and Connor get a good night sleep. It’ll be the last thing they ever do.

Ricky’s POV

I walk inside and sit on the couch. I don’t know Shane that well, but the vibes I was getting from him makes me feel extremely uneasy. I should call Cat and tell her what Shane told me. I pull out my phone and dial Cat’s number. I let the phone ring, but all I got was her voicemail.

This is Cat. I’m currently unavailable at the time. Please leave a message after the beep. BEEP

“Hey Cat, it’s Ricky. I just met this guy named Shane and he told me how he’s going to try and break up Joey and Connor. He tried to get me to help him, but I refused. I just wanted to let you know,” I say.

I hang up the phone to find Connor walking out of the kitchen. “Hey, man,” Connor says. “Where’ve you been?”

“Just been hanging,” I tell him. “What’d you done today?”

“Mainly just watched movies with Joey here at the house,” Connor answers.

“Sounds fun,” I say.

“It was fun, but I’m exhausted. So I’m going to go lay down. I’ll see you in the morning,” Connor states.

“Okay, night,” I tell him.

Connor heads upstairs to his room. I reach for the remote and turn on the TV. I lean back and start flipping through channels. After getting bored, I decided to keep the TV on this channel. I had no idea what this show was, but I didn’t really care. The show was too boring to keep my attention. The more I watch it, the sleepier I got and eventually, I fell asleep on the couch.

Shane’s POV

After I got home, I laid around until it got late. I gaze into the flames in my fireplace and all I can see is Connor and Ricky in it. I look to the clock and see that it is two in the morning. I quickly get ready, get in my car, and head to Connor and Ricky’s place. While on the way there, I pass a mother with her young daughter. We both stopped at a red light. During the wait, I could hear the little girl listening to Burnin’ Up by the Jonas Brothers.
