Kian's POV
Where am I? I can only see dark. "We've sent all trace evidence to the police and hopefully the trace evidence will be able to turn up a criminal from their database," I hear someone say.
"Uh, oh, uuu," I slur out.
"Looks like he's waking up," the person says. "By the way, I'm Dr. Daphne. I'll let you have some time with your friend, but don't pressure him too much. He still has his concussion."
"Thank you," a group of people say.
Light slowly starts to peak into my eyes until they are filled with it. At first, everything was blurred and I couldn't make out the people around me. "Kian," one of the people say.
Their voice instantly alerted me. "Ricky," I say, my vision clearing. I'm now met with everyone staring at me. I jerk forward and hug Ricky tightly. "Ricky, why am I here," I ask. "What happened?"
"Don't you know," Ricky answers back.
"No...I don't know," I say.
"You was found beaten next to the police station," Ricky says. "You were covered in bruises and cuts, had internal bleeding, and you currently have a concussion."
"Well, that explains this major headache I have right now," I say with a laugh. "Haha. Ow."
"Do you have any idea who did this," Cat asks.
"I'm not sure," I answer back.
"Well, what did you do prior to it," Joey asks.
"Let me think," I say. "I woke up and got dressed. I then said goodbye to Ricky and Connor and headed to the police department for questioning. I talked to one of their officers. What was his name? Officer Par? Officer Jar? Officer Stark? Officer Star! There we go. Anyway, before I talked to him, I saw Cam in one of the rooms being questioned. After being questioned, I left the police department and feel someone grab my arm tightly."
"Who was it," Shelby asks.
I try to picture the person who grabbed me, but their face was blurred. "I don't know. Whenever I try to picture it, the image blurs. All I remember during that is blacking out and hearing people mumbling while I was being beaten," I say. Pain shoots into my head instantly. "Ow, my head!"
"Ease up on concentrating," Ricky says. "It's okay if you can't remember right now. The police are looking into it."
