Cat’s POV

We’ve all been extremely distraught since Ricky got kidnapped. I’m not sure who is taking it harder; Kian or Connor? I know Kian has been very vocal and physical with his emotions, but Connor just walks around and doesn't say a word. I haven’t seen him look sad, angry, anxious, or afraid. He just has this blank and cold look on his face. I ask him how he’s feeling and all he says is, I don’t know. Is he just numb or in denial over the situation? Right now has been the first moment I have been able to clearly think about anything other than Ricky.

I look over at Joey sitting in a chair staring outside through a window. I could see that tears were streaming down his face. While Doug was in the bathroom, I walk over to Joey and ask, “How are you feeling?”

“Honestly, words can’t describe how I feel,” Joey says. “I just feel like something is about to happen, soon.”

“What do you mean,” I ask.

            “I don’t know,” Joey says.

KNOCK KNOCK

I walk over to the door and answer it. I find out that it was Pascal. “Hello,” I say.

“Hi, Cat,” Pascal says. “How’d the funeral go?”

“It was okay,” Cat says. “Do you want to come inside?”

“No, I just wanted to see if you all would want to come to my place and hang out with Gabe, Aaron, and myself,” Pascal says.

“Let me see if they want to come,” I say. “Just don’t mention Ricky.”

            “Why,” Pascal asked.

“Ricky was kidnapped yesterday,” I say.

“Oh my god,” Pascal says surprised. “I’m sorry. Maybe this party could help, it could maybe help get their minds off it.”

“I think you might be right,” I say. “Wait, Connor went to go get us some pizza to eat.”

“Connor is already there,” Pascal said. “I ran into him at the pizza place.”

“I’ll be right back,” I say.

I walk around the house and ask everyone if they want to go. Joey and Doug were all for it. Shelby and Andrea wanted to go, but they didn’t want to leave Kian alone, so they decided to stay. We all walk outside to find that Shelby’s car was back. “I had my mechanic bring it over,” Pascal said.
