Connor’s POV
After the call, Ricky and I left the house and headed to the market.
“What’s your last name, by the way,” I asked Ricky.
“Dillon,” Ricky responded. “What’s yours?”
“Franta,” I answered back.
“Fanta,” Ricky asked with a grin and chuckle.
“No, Franta,” I say.
“Oh, I’m sorry,” he replies with a worried look.
“It’s okay,” I say. “You haven’t been the first person to make that mistake. How’s your arm feeling?”
“Much better, thanks for fixing it up,” I answer with a smile.
We walked up to the LA Tropicana Market and see Cat and Joey leaning up against the store. They looked like they were talking to each other until they saw us coming. They smile and start waving at us. We walk over to them with a smile.
“Hey guys,” I exclaim.
“Hey,” Joey and Cat say back.
“Did Mr. Rogers hire you two,” Cat asked.
“Yep,” Ricky answers.
“Cool,” Joey says. “So you two are new to LA?”
“Yeah,” I answer.
“That’s cool! We haven’t had any new people around here in a while,” Cat says.
“You ready for me and Cat to show you around,” Joey asks.
“Yeah,” I say. “So where do we start?”
“Well, you guys already know about the LA Tropicana Market,” Joey says. “Hey, have you guys eaten yet?”
“No,” I say.
“Not yet, I’m starving,” Ricky answers.
“That’s good because I know a great pizza place that’s about eighteen minutes away from here if traffic isn’t bad,” Joey says.
