~(Y/N)'s POV~

I hum softly, working on braiding Coral's hair when Geralt walks in.

"Hey love." He says, leaning down and kissing my cheek.

"How was work?" I ask, putting the ponytail holder in Coral's hair and patting her shoulders.

"It was good. I got to tattoo a really cool rose today."

"That's nice. Dinner is in the kitchen, we were waiting for you to eat."

"Oh, you didn't have to wait on me, but thank you." He says, walking to the kitchen. I stand up and walk into the kitchen behind him, giving his behind a firm squeeze.

"What's for dinner?" He asks, walking over to the stove.

"I made fettuccine alfredo with broccoli and chicken." I say.

"From scratch?"

"Yup."

"It smells delicious." He says, placing his hands on my hips and pulling me in close, kissing my lips gently.

"Mom! Geralt! Gross!" The kids chorus. I chuckle and pull back from Geralt. He smiles and lifts the lid off the pot, grabbing the scoop and a plate, scooping some food onto said plate before handing it to Coral.

"Why's there broccoli?" asks Coen.

"Because everyone else likes broccoli. Give it a try before you knock it." says Geralt in his fatherly tone, making my heart flutter. Coen nods and takes his plate from Geralt, walking to the dining room table. Geralt scoops me a plate and kisses my forehead.

"Thank you for dinner, love." He whispers, scooping himself a plate before putting the lid back on the pot, walking to the table with me by his side. We both sit down and Geralt looks at the children.

"Dig in." He says. They don't ask any further questions before shoveling food into their mouths.

"Slow down though. This isn't your last meal guys." Geralt says, smiling as he ate his food.

"This broccoli is actually pretty good." says Coen. I smile.

"See? All you had to do was give it a try." says Geralt.

After dinner, the children cleaned up the kitchen while Geralt and I cleaned the table, taking care of the dishes. When we all finished, we walked into the living room, turning on the TV and going to Disney plus.

"What do you guys wanna watch?"

"Lightyear!"

"Doctor Strange!"

"Okay, who got to pick last time?"

"Coen did! He always wants to watch pixar!" says Coral.

"Fine, Doctor Strange it is. Now, do you want the first one or the second one?"

"The first one please mom!" She says. I smile and select the movie of my daughter's choice, turning the volume up before leaning back against Geralt's chest.

It's been a few months since Geralt moved in with me and the kids and it's been nice. He set up a small gym in the basement and had been working out almost every day, sometimes calling me down to help him out.
