Chapter 144

Roddy POV

I walked in the house, and it was completely dark, I scrunched my eyebrows.

"HeavenLeigh!" I said loud enough for her to hear me.

Nothing.

I walked in the bedroom seeing she was gone, and I seen paper and a pen on the bed.

I turned on the light and grabbed the paper, seeing it was a song she had written and it had tear drops on it.

I squinted my eyes, as I sat on the edge of the bed and I started reading the lyrics.

Something in my soul ain't right
I can't sleep at night
Wondering when the change gone come
I'm feeling like I'm not the only one
Tell me when I turn you off
My best friend says it's not my fault
All the neighbors stop and stare
The pastor says to stay in prayer...

I looked at my phone after I read that portion looking at the time.

11 PM.

"What the fuck" I mumbled. Then I started reading the rest.

Can't believe the way you talk
Seems like you wanna call it off
Friends see you treating me like dirt
What happened to for better, for worse?
I need answers
Is it too pressure?
I don't understand you
Do I really miss you?

These lyrics disturbed a nigga, not gone front.

I know for a fact she's writing about us.

I went to my messages with Heaven, sending her a text.

Me: wya? i'm ready to talk

I then sat my phone on the side of me and continued reading the lyrics.

I sighed as I sat the paper down, and I laid back on the bed rubbing my face.

"You okay?" Remy asked as I woke up.

When I got here, I just took a nap because I didn't wanna feel the pain I was feeling physically and emotionally, so she let me sleep in her bed.

"I guess.." I mumbled and she got in the bed with me.

"Me and Miyon brought you some food back, from Carl's Jr. if you're hungry" She said.

"I am actually, thank you guys so much" I said and Miyon walked in the room saying "Hi baby! You okay?"

"I'm alright" I mumbled as they both sat on each side of me.
