Marco's POV

I ran up to the window outside the Spanish classroom. Ferguson was in there, repeating the words of the teacher. "Ferg. Ferg! I need Star's book of spells!", I whispered aggressively to get his attention. Ferg didn't look at me, but simply said "Lo siento, Señor Marco. Solo puedo hablarte en Español."

I groaned innerly. I didn't have time for this. "Where's the girls' book?", I asked him. "No, no, no. Se pronuncia 'libro.' 'Libro'", Ferg said, and I gave in. "Where is Star's libro?" "Muy bien", Ferg said, content. "Mi dio el libro a Janna." "You gave it to Janna!?", I groaned. Great. Now I had to find Janna.

The bell rang, which meant break was beginning. I had to get that book as fast as possible. I ran down the hallway, hoping that Janna was still there. "Totally." That was her! I entered the room to see... Comet?

She was standing next to Janna, trying to get her book back. She wasn't really doing any progress though. Seems like her new-found leadership only applied to me and Star.

"Gimme that", I grabbed the book from Janna "I've been looking all over for this!" "Thanks Marco", Comet sighed and smiled when I handed her the book. "Well, now that you found your little book, let's make some magic with it", Janna said. "We don't need your help, Janna! Thank you", I told her irritatedly. "Whatever. You'll need me soon enough, Marco, 'cause I got your house keys", she scoffed, and ran away.

I groaned. "Marco, stay focused. We'll get your keys later", Comet said, snapping her fingers in front of my face. "Right", I agreed and she opened the book. I watched as she flipped through the pages filled with doodles, spells and other stuff. It was real messy. "This doesn't make any sense!", I complained. "Isn't there a glossary in this thing?"

"Did someone say Glossaryck?", the book pages turned by themselves and a blue genie-like creature appeared from it. "Wha...", I couldn't even finish my question, before this creature, Glossaryck, continued "'Cause that's me. Sir Glossaryck. Of Terms. At your service, miladies."

"Uh, I"m not a milady", I corrected him. Glossaryck stared at me. "... Could have fooled me. Goodbye", he said and disappeared, slamming the book close with him. "No!", I exclaimed, as I tried to reopen the book again, Comet sitting next to me. "This book is not for the likes of you! Magical princesses only!"

Exasparated, I yelled "But, Comet is a magical princess!" "Oh, yes, that is correct." Glossaryck reappeared, completely ignoring me. "Long time no see, Comet Butterfly. How may I serve you?"

"It's about Star. She's going through mewberty. Right now. In the middle of a school filled with boys", Comet explained to him quickly. "Ah, Star Butterfly. Your twin. I'm sorry, but I can't help with him around", Glossaryck pointed at me, his finger almost touching my face. "What, why not?", I asked. I could feel myself getting annoyed.

"Can't you make an exception?", Comet asked. He looked at her, and sighed. "You're lucky you have your grandmother's eyes. I usually don't make exceptions, but maybe we can work something out. Pudding", he demanded. "What?!", I asked. "I want pudding."

"Pudding?", I hadn't expected that. "Corrrrrect. High schools have excellent pudding. Pudding", he almost chanted. "Are you sure he can help?", I whispered to Comet as we watched Glossaryck dangle around in the air. "Right now he is our best chance. I'll just go get the pudding", she said, motionng to stand up. "No!", Glossaryck yelled. We looked at him. "The boy must go get it." "Ehh... okay", I walked away to get him his pudding.

Meanwhile...

"Boy... Booooy...", Star whispered. The locker turned out to belong to a boy, who had opened it and looked at himself in the mirror. Star reached out to touch his cheek. The boy looked at Star with her white glowing, heart-shaped eyes. The purple heart leaves had formed a cocoon. The boy simply closed the door to his locker and walked away.

Suddenly, the locker expanded, and purple vines started growing from it. From the cocoon, only the glowing eyes of Star were seen.

Comet's POV

Marco returned with the pudding. "All right here's your pudding", he said and held t towards Glossaryck. He turned around and opened his mouth. "What are you doing?", Marco asked him. "You've got to feed me, of course. Pudding doesn't eat itself. Ahhh...", Glossaryck waited for him to finally start feeding him. "This is ridiculous", Marco complained. "How about I just go away for a minute, and you tell Comet what to do."

"No can do, boy. You offered pudding. Now I want pudding", Glossaryck demanded. "Alright, fine", Marco groaned and started feeding him spoons of the chocolate pudding.

"So... You said Star's going through... mewberty?", Glossaryck asked between spoons of pudding. "Yes, how can we help her?", I asked him. "How can we stop it?", Marco asked. "Well, can't stop it", Glossaryck replied.

"That's not an option", Marco said. "It'll be all over soon. Star should be back to normal by, uh... 3:57 PM. Or she won't", Glossaryck explained. "Or she won't what?", Marco asked. "Be back to normal", he calmly replied. I looked at him bewildered. "There must be something we can do", I said. God, why did mom say I should ask Glossaryck if I had any questions? "Ahhh..." Glossaryck said, demanding more pudding. "It's empty. You ate it all", Marco said, showing him the empty container. "Scrape the sides!", Glossaryck chanted.

Marco scarped the sides and fed the last bit of pudding to Glossaryck. "Now talk."

"Look, nature is like a runaway dump truck - hot, fast, and full of garbage", Glossaryck said. "What?", I asked, hoping for more information. "Nature can't be stopped. That is all." "There has to be more you can tell us than that!", Marco exclaimed. Glossaryck laughed. "Of course there is. But then, you're out of pudding. And just like that, he slammed the book close again.

"That wasn't helpful at all", I said.

"We'll find a different way to help-", Marco began, but was cut off by a scream coming from the direction of Star's locker. "Oh no", he muttered. "Star!", I exclaimed and sprinted to the lockers, Marco closely behind me.
