Comet's POV:
Star ended up making quick work of the monsters, kicking them out of the house without her wand.
"I'm so utchy! Please hew me!", Marco said through the hair.
Star proudly took out a small razor. "Marco, you were right. I was using my wand too much. But, I am Star Butterfly, an independent woman with fists like hammers!"
"I dun't core! Jus' gut rid of the haiw!"
"And now, I shall shave this beard off of you", Star announced proudly, "with this tiny razor!"
"Star...", I sighed. I know she meant well, and wanted to prove she had learned her lesson, but this really was not the time... "Just like a normal person", Star said, "Thank you, Marco, for teaching me such a valuable lesson."
She neared the hair with the razor, and immediately, it started growing more. "Wuah!", Star screamed. I held onto the hair to not be pushed out of the room again.
"..." Star let the razor fall, "On second thought... Magical mishaps need magic to solve them, don't they?"

Toffee's POV:
After about twenty minutes of uncontrollled laughter, Ludo had returned back to his insufferable, usual self.
"What a pathetic display back there! You guys make me sick! No more milkshake privileges for you!", he berated the others. They groaned in dismay, some of them glaring at Ludo, only to look away like kicked puppies when he gazed upon them.
This was it. The moment I had worked for. The monsters were done with him, angry and frustrated. They only needed one person to speak up, behind whom they could rally. Just one small push...
"I want you to use that time to think about what you've done!"
"Perhaps they should use that time to think about what you've done", I fell into his rant, looking down at him. "Exactly! Wait, what?" He looked at me dumbfounded, with big, sheepish eyes.
I looked at him coldly. "Let me ask you a question. What kind of leader throws you into a pit of hair, makes you do all the work, and shows you no appreciation for your sacrifices?"
I started walking around the room looking at the monsters, nodding at them. I'm on your side, I told them. No reason to hide your anger anymore.
"Are you talking... About me?", Ludo asked, as if he was completely surprised. Well, he probably is... That dumb bird doesn't have the brain capacity to reflect.
"What kind of leader has all the power in the universe at his fingertips... and gets tickled right out it?", I continued with a sly tone. "Toffee, what are you doing?", Ludo asked. I turned my gaze back to him. "Your soldiers deserve better", I coldly stated.
In a desperate attempt to regain control, Ludo yelled "You are fired!" I smirk and walk to the other side of the room. The monsters were looking at me, then him, me, him. No one dared to speak.
"Let's put it to your soldiers", I said, "Who's the better leader: Ludo... or me?"
I could see how they all visibly froze, and I contained a grin. It was obvious what they were thinking. But they were still hesitant to break free from their deep-rooted loyalty to Ludo. At their core they were loyal monsters with great potential; with the right leader, they would be great soldiers.
One by one, they started going to me, rallying behind me. I smirked at Ludo. I won, I told him through my smile.
Ludo's eyes narrowed. It was obvious he wasn't going down without one last tantrum.
"You guys belong to me!", he yelled, "Three-eyed Potato Baby, I am like a father to you. Beard Deer, I took you in off the streets! You guys owe me your life!" He looked up st them with fury. "Are you stupid imbeciles really going to listen to him?!"
"An army is not build on dependence and debts", I coldly told him, "To have reliable and healthy relations with your soldiers you need to earn their respect and loyalty. From the very beginning, you have failed to be a decent leader."
Ludo's eyes were filled with desperate tears. I did not feel sorry. He had done this himself. It had only been a matter of time till his monsters would've turned on him. All I did was give them one small push.
"I think it's high time you leave this castle. Monsters who do not carry their own weight are not welcome here."
Bearicorn and Gerald picked him up and we all walked to the main gate. They pushed him out. Ludo turned to us. "You can't do this! This is my castle! Those are my monsters!", he screamed.
"Not anymore", I said, and leaned down a bit. "You know, I do pity you. Your existence is now... absolutely meaningless."
With that, I turned and the rest of us went back inside. I closed the gates firmly behind me.
"What now?", Bearicorn asked.
I looked into the group of monsters, all looking at me for guidance.
"There will be a few changes to your day-to-day life here", I announced, "But the goal for now remains the same: we will be working towards retrieving the Butterfly's wands. Is that understood?"

Comet's POV:
I was staring out the window of the classroom, not able to listen to the teacher. Who are you? What are you? my mind kept repeating again and again. I was certain I knew that monster from somewhere.
Then it suddenly clicked. Septarian!
It had been a few years ago, when Mom had first opened up to me about her role in the Monster War. She had told me of grandma's death, and the Septarian who had orchestrated it all.
"When I met them on the battle field, he said his name was-", Mom cut herself off. "Hmm?", I asked, and stopped kicking my legs. We were sitting on her bed as she told me this story. Mom smiled at me. "I'd rather not say. It's best he's forgotten, and his name is lost to time. That way, he can't hurt anyone anymore."
"... Mom? How did you defeat them?", I asked. She laughed a little and took me in her arms. "It wasn't easy. They were Septarian; monster who can't be defeated by physical means. I had to use a powerful spell to defend our kingdom. After I won that battle, we signed a treaty with the monsters, ensuring Mewni's safety."
"Really? What kind of spell?"
"That- Is not important. I'll tell you when you and Star are a bit older, okay? For now, that's all I can tell you", Mom said.
"When I'm a bit older...", I mumbled.
"Comet? The bell rung like five minutes ago", Marco's voice made me look up. "Huh? Sorry, I must have missed it." I quickly packed up my stuff and left the classroom with him and Star.
Septarian or not, he's a lot smarter than the monsters before. We need to be careful from now on.
