Don't Shoot!! (Raph)

Reader's Point Of View...

I walked back into the lair with April and Casey to see Raph and Mikey but no sign of Leo or Donnie.

I paused as I looked around as Raph seemed extra weird. "What's going on guys?" I asked as I saw Mikey seeming to keep himself busy. "Oh nothing, nothing at all." Mikey said as he put a fresh pepperoni pizza onto the table, he then began to stuff his face with pizza as Raph talked with April.

"So you're wanting to break into police headquarters?" April asked once again to make sure she heard what Raph had mentioned properly. 

"Uh yeah." Raph said as Casey crossed his arms. 

"Donnie said he needs more of the purple ooze to track BeBop and Rocksteady." Raph said as he walked closer to Mikey who was putting different types of sauces onto his pizza.

"And you said that the cops would have locked it away in the evidence control room by now." Raph said. 

I squinted at Raph and Mikey as I could even see how tense they both were. I looked to Raph as he couldn't look me in the eye. 

"Well if Donnie needs the purple ooze why didn't him and Leo go for the police headquarters?" I asked Raph. 

"They went to the museum to track BeBop and Rocksteady's last known position inside New York." Raph said as Mikey nodded as he continued to mix his sauces.

"Okay and Leo is good with this plan?" April asked with a hint of suspicion in her tone, as she returned her gaze back to Raph as Casey kept an eye on Mikey.

"Actually, I'm in charge on this one." Raph said. "Ain't that right Mikey?" Raph said as he turned to Mikey who nervously looked to us. 

"Yooo-Right!" He said almost like a robot having an error in its program. April squinted as well as she looked to Mikey's behavior.

I watched as Raph struggled to even roll out the blueprint of the police station.

"So.. We can take the elevator shafts and vents. We need you three to stay on the ground-" Raph explained before Casey interrupted him.

"I-...I can't just walk straight into police headquarters." Casey admitted.

Raph sighed. "What are you? Chicken?" Raph asked. I sighed as I stood up as I made my way to the kitchen to make myself a tea or something to eat before the mission.

I ignored the more high pitched arguing as April watched me in the kitchen. I held up the coffee pot as she nodded with a smile before looking back to the two arguing.

I poured her a cup of coffee as I looked into the fridge to see one green tea left.

I opened it as I walked back to the table. "So we are breaking into police headquarters." Casey said. I smiled as I shook my head as April did the same.

We ended up showing up to find Vern, who was partying at a gathering as he was showing off his key to the city.

"Wait here." April said as she took off her yellow jacket to bring less attention to herself. "I'll be back in two minutes." April said as she handed me her jacket. I smirked as I watched her walk off as I held onto her jacket.

To be honest I was tempted to put on her jacket but I was fine with what I was wearing already.

Just like she said she was back in two minutes with an annoyed looking Vern.

"Hey look, your jealousy holds no limits." Vern said as they rounded the corner. "We need your help." Was all that April had to say.

"Who is we?" Vern asked.
