After an exhausting twelve hour flight, you were back home.

Joestar-san sent someone from the Speedwagon Foundation to pick you and Avdol up at the airport. Once you finally got to the Joestar building, you both waited in the lobby until someone finally came to take you upstairs.

When you entered the penthouse, you were greeted by a somewhat frantic Joseph and a calm, having a conversation Suzi, However, it didn't seem like they noticed you, or at least until Avdol cleared his throat. Once they heard that, they turned to you and went to you two. The Joestar couple wrapped you in a smothering hug, to which you awkwardly stretched your arms around them both. They then moved to greet Avdol, and so you took a deep breath to recover the air that had been squeezed out of you.

"Now," Joestar-san began, "you're probably wondering why I called you two in New York."

"Yes, Avdol said it was your grandson, and I thought your daughter and her family lived in Japan," you replied. "Wouldn't it make more sense to meet you there?"

"Well, yes, but I can't guarantee our privacy if we were to meet there to discuss the situation." At this, Suzi left the room. The word situation began to worry you. You were lost in thought until Joestar-san started talking again. "My grandson, Jotaro, is in prison and has developed a Stand. And that only confirms my suspicions and what you told me a few months ago, Avdol." You whipped your head to look at Avdol, who had a stern but calm look on his face.

"DIO is alive....What is it, Akira?" Avdol asks.

"I recognise that name...who is he?"

After a pause, Mr. Joestar spoke.

"He is an enemy of my lineage. He killed my grandfather and my great-grandfather. I have reason to believe that the reason I have my stand and my grandson now has the his is because DIO himself has a stand." You just stood there and soaked in the information.

"Akira, something similar happened to me a few months ago" Avdol started, then stopped. He cut himself off from telling his story, only to ask "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't want it to hurt you or affect you in any way." You answered him, to which he looked at you with a look of affection on his face.

"Well, I appreciate it, but at the same time, you could have died."

"We both know I wouldn't go down that easily." Mr. Joestar cleared his throat to speak, but you spoke instead. "So I guess we have to defeat DIO. And since he tried to make lackeys out of me and Avdol, we can only assume that there are people he actually made his servants. That explain why we needed to speak privately here. But, before we do, we need to get your grandson out of jail and bring him with us, because his stand might be useful. We also need to know if DIO is still in Egypt or if he left. Did I get everything?"

Mr. Joestar looked at you and complained "I was supposed to say that!"

"Your deduction never fails to impress me, Akira," Avdol says.

You nod your head in recognition.

Mr. Joestar starts again: "You hit the nail on the head, Akira. That being said, we have a flight to Japan that we need to catch."

"Well, let's go then."

The three of you said goodbye to Suzi and headed back to the airport.

Along the way, you couldn't help but think of DIO and his minions, but more of his minions than the man himself. You were aware of how selfish and cruel the world could be, but would there be people who actually followed it?
