Meera had gelled pretty well with the Padikkal family.
She grew fond of Barney particularly because she loved Golden Retrivers.
Rutu had left for his training in Mumbai for the upcoming series against England while Dev was going to train at NCA in Bangalore.

Dev was taking Meera for Bangalore Darshan today.
"I've read about this famous Dosa place called Vidyarthi Bhavan in Bangalore, kaha hai woh?" Meera asked him in the car.
"Are hum udhar hi jaa rahe hai. They make the best Dosa in the world." Dev informed as they stopped at the signal.
"Yeah I read about it when I was in Nottingham and since then I'm dying to try their Dosa."

They arrived at Vidyarthi Bhavan and Meera was astonished to see the place packed with people"Jaisa Pune mein Vaishali, waisa Bangalore mein Vidyarthi Bhavan

"Jaisa Pune mein Vaishali, waisa Bangalore mein Vidyarthi Bhavan." Meera nodded in agreement.
After lot of efforts they got a place.

"I wont ask you what you'll have because I know you're craving the Dosa."
Dev ordered two Dosas and the Kesari Bath (basically like Kesar Suji ka Halwa).

They were talking about some TV show when a young girl approached them.
"Hi Dev, can I please have a picture? I'm a huge fan!" The girl was evidently overwhelmed.
Dev agreed and she clicked a selfie.
Meera was observing the girl's body language and dressing sense with an amused look on her face.
"Direct Dev? Dev is for the close ones. Mein bhi pehle tumhe Devdutt keh ke bulati thi. Yeh kya direct Dev and all." Meera said surprised.

Meera took a bite of her Dosa and Dev got his favorite reaction.
"Why's this so good?! Itna sundar yaar!!". Meera spoke gibberish even when her mouth was stuffed but Dev understood.
"Hai na! When I was a kid, hum yaha kai bar aate the. Ab itna aana nahi hota but tumhare vaje se I came back again." Dev told Meera.
"This Kesari Bath is so similar to the Sheera Aai makes! It's so well cooked, excellent!" Meera praised the cook and delved into her plate.
Dev loved watching Meera relish her food.

"Iss baar I'm paying." Dev strictly told her and paid.
"Idu atyattumavagittu."(it was excellent) Meera struggled as she spoke to the owner before leaving and he smiled and thanked them.
"You know Kannada?" Dev asked surprised.
"Obviously I don't, Google Translate slay." Dev laughed as Meera flipped her hair and entered the car.

It was 11 am when they returned back home.
Meera was dragged to the bedroom by Dev's Amma and Chandni.
Dev could hear excitement in Meera's voice through the closed door and he couldn't help but wonder what it was.
After 15 minutes, Meera opened the door and Dev could feel his senses going out through the window.

Meera was wearing a Kasavu Saree (traditional Kerala Saree) and she looked breathtaking.
She wore a red sleeveless blouse and had her signature black Bindi on her forehead.

"How do I look Dev?!" Meera asked excitedly.
"Mujhse shaadi karogi?? Mujhse shaadi karogi?" Dev sang and Chandni giggled.
Dev did the najar utarne wali action.
"Click a picture na, I want to send it to Aai." Meera said handing her phone to Dev.
Dev handed over the phone to Chandni instead and joined Meera in the picture.

They had lunch and Dev's Amma made the authentic Kerala style Payasam.
"This is going to be my favorite dish from now on." Meera said while taking her third bowl of Payasam.

Meera was with Chandni when Dev's parents had the conversation with him.
"Kab batane wala hai Meera ko?" Dev's Amma asked him.
"Amma!?" Dev uttered in shock.
"Don't pretend and put on the facade of 'I don't know what you're talking about.' We can clearly see, you're in love." Dev's Dad stated honestly.

Dev went shy and smiled.
"Tu toh mujhe bola tha ki jab koi milegi to mein khud aapko bataunga. Kab batane wala tha?" Dev's mother questioned him.
"Are I was going to tell you very soon. More like Meera ke jaane ke baad but you guys already know." Dev elaborated.
"Does she like you?"

"Are Amma you won't believe! She's my fangirl since she was 19. Tabse she has a crush on me." Dev told them proudly as if it was the greatest achievement of his life.
Dev's parents laughed adorably.
"Toh matlab we're getting a Marathi bahu in our house." Dev's Amma gushed and Dev blushed.
"Good choice Dev! Meera is really a diamond." Dev's father ruffled his hair.
"Yes, my Meera is a heera." Dev said as he laid in his mother's lap.
"Look, our boy is in love!"  Dev's mother chuckled as she and Dev's Dad realized that they raised their boy right.
