"So? Mind telling me why you're here?" my good friend Timothy asks.

"I have a promise to fulfill" I say as I sit down in a chair

"What kind of promise?" He asks smiling at me.

"Just a small one." I say

"Where do you want it today?" He asks

"How about on my forearm?" I ask him and he nods

"Good choice, do you have a reference photo?"

"Just draw the best arrow you can." I say and get comfortable in the chair.

In only an hour my tattoo is complete. Renner is going to love this. I pay and say goodbye.

As I'm driving home I get a call from Scarlett.

"Hey, whats up?" I answer

"Oh nothing I just wanted to see how you are. I know it's probably dark out there." She says

"Yeah, it's only 9 pm." I say checking the watch

"So what are you up to?" I ask her.

"I just got back home. I was out on a run. Wouldn't hurt to get back in shape." She says opening a door of some kind.

"Eh, I guess you're right."

"How was your day out with Rose last week? You never gave me feedback." I ask her

"Well I didn't think you'd want to hear all that."

"Hey, as long as it concerns either you or Rose, I want to hear about it." I say trying to reassure her

"Okay so here's how it went." She said and preceeded on telling me all about the change of plans that they did last minute. I arrive at my house but I stay in the car. She'll hear my shuffling and she'll want to stop. And I'd feel bad if I interrupted her. After she told me all the details she breathed out, she was talking fast and it was the most adorable thing I've ever heard.

"Sorry that took too long." She apologizes.

"Hey hey don't you apologize, it was perfect."

"How come you make my mood better by just being there?" She asks

"I don't know how to answer that. I guess I could say I'm charismatic?"

"What does that have to do with any of this?" She asks laughing

"I don't know." I say and chuckle to myself.

"How was your day?" She asks

"It was okay. Considering it's Saturday evening I am not too tired." I say.

"Did you fire anyone today?" She taunts.

"No." I say rolling my eyes.

"Hey, I'm just messing with you. I never knew you hated firing people so much." She says

"It's worse than hiring people." I say

"It takes a toll on me because I feel like I ruined someone's life because of it." I say

"Well you didn't do anything there. They did it themselves. I know you wouldn't fire someone just because." She says

"I guess you're right."

"I'm always right." Pfff yeah right

"Whatever you say."

"Are you home yet?" She asks

"Yeah, I am." I say

"When did you arrive I didn't hear your car or anything." She says

"I'm sitting in my car. In the driveway."
