The Beginning to A New Future Pt.1

"Huh? What's this? It's some sort of hologram...".

As soon as I grew closer to the mysterious hologram, it soon started to play a video...

"Are you sure this is going to work, my lady...? These terms and conditions are...".

"I know Silvia. It's risky. Very risky. But something *has* to be done. And if it has to be done by my own hands, then so be it. I'm not going to let the rest of the Future Foundation risk those kids lives just to end some fucking tragedy that might never end...".

"That voice...! It's Y/n's. But there's someone else who's talking to her. Who is that..."?

"Don't say that, my lady! This tragedy will certainly end! I'm sure of it"! Silvia then took a deep breathe in and a deep breathe out. "But the real thing to worry about right now is your safety. You just got rescued from Hopes Peak not to long ago and now, you want to take on a greater risk to save the Remnants of Despair!? Who says that all of this will end if you do rescue them all by yourself!? Not only does that put a direct target on your back from the Future Foundation, but that could put your friends lives at risk! And I know you don't want that to happen! "There no time to rest, Silvia!", you shouted as you slammed your hands on the desk. "Who says that this'll end if Makoto and the others do save them, huh!? As of right now, Makoto will get arrested and be charged with treason if he even so lays a finger on one of the Remnants of Despair! I can't let that happen. I'm NOT going to let that happen! Even though I didn't join the Future Foundation, I promised that I'd help them no matter what. And I still stand by my word 'till this day"!

"You just don't get how critical this situation is, do you...? This is something that you can lose apart of your memory from! Something that can potentially kill you! And this is something that you still want to go through!?", Silvia shouted with a shaky voice. "...Listen to yourself Y/n! You're not making any sense! I get that you want to help your friends with this disaster. But putting your life at risk for something that can't be handled alone, is a lose-lose situation. And...lets say that you did go and try to save them, but you lost a part of your memory, or even died in the process... Tell me...what kind of victory is that? What kind of victory is worth sacrificing your life over? And lets not even bring your friends into this... If they were to hear what happened to you because you decided to go on your own, imagine how they would feel. Imagine how crushed they would be. Imagine how heartbroken and torn they would be if they were to find out that their friend, the one that they survived through thick and thin with, was killed trying to do something that can't be done alone!", Silvia said as she slammed her hands on your desk and looked straight into your eyes with all seriousness. As she looked at you straight in your eyes, tears started forming and slowly rolling down her cheek. Not to long after that she broke down..."I-I can't...I can't lose you Y/n...! I wasn't fast enough to save your parents... Smart enough to run this clan while you were away... Ha, even my own daughter decided to cut ties with me... So please... Think about this for a little longer. I just want you...to make the right decisions in life...", Silvia managed to say while on her knees crying.

Hearing those words come out of Silvia's mouth, reminded you of yourself a little bit. Of how you acted when Mondo was announced the blackened. You didn't want to lose him, and afterwards, you didn't feel strong enough that you couldn't even prevent your best friend from murdering another friend. You knew exactly where Silvia was coming from. And you didn't blame her at all. Instead, you knelt down right in front of Silvia and hugged her tight. While hugging her, you said these words...
