"Our...Guidance Counselor? What the heck does that even mean"!?

"What the hell is going on, Y/n!?", Fuyuhiko shouted. "Isn't this what we have to go through to get outta here"?

"No, it's not. If you guys press either "Graduate" or "Repeat", nothing's gonna change. As for what the hell is going on, I'll leave that part to Hajime".

"H-Huh? Me"?

"C'mon, you know what the Guidance Counselor role really is. Tell em' Hajime. You got this".

"U-Uh, okay... The Guidance Counselor role...is the specific role you made for yourself. A role that prevents any kind of violence towards the students and will set things straight. That's Y/n's role".

"But...if she was able to stop any violence towards us...then why did the killings still happen? Why were people still murdered if she could've prevented them!? You could've saved everyone! Including Peko...".

"You're right, I could've... If I had remembered".

"I saw a hologram between Y/n and her head maid, Silvia. In their conversation, Silvia said mentioned that if Y/n entered the Neo World Program, part of her memory could be erased...", Hajime said.

"He's right... I came here knowing the risks that would happen to my body. And thanks to that, I paid the price of losing part of my memory on how and why I arrived here... But as much as I hate to say it, even if I had remembered, I would've been useless anyway, since Monokuma would've revoked my status as the Guidance Consoler...", you said

"Now that we know what Y/n's role is, let's move on to the next subject", Hajime said

"Well wait just a second! I did say I wanted you guys to know the outside world, but this is still a question starting topic...", Monokuma said. "Let me ask you this: what is this world's true identity"!?

"Huh? This world's true identity? What kind of question is that? We're clearly just on an island, right?", Kazuichi said

"Not just any island... This world... This "Jabberwock Island" we're on...", Hajime started

"It's a virtual world that was inspired by the actual Jabberwock Island!", Monokuma interrupted but finished

"Soooo...this isn't the real world, but if you want, you can call it the game world. You get it? It's all just one big game"!

"Well, as you guys already know, the Future Foundation created this world using a program called the Neo World Program... It's programmed to place the user in a virtual world by synchronizing directly with the user's brain. Which means, your bodies still exist in the real world. But right now, you're completely within the game world, as if you're dreaming or something", Hiro explained

"You mean...we're avatars, right? An existence created in the game as a copy of the user's real body...", Kazuichi said

"But...we're not just regular avatars, right?", Hajime asked

"Well, no... In order to create the avatars you guys are now, there was...something that needed to be removed from your bodies in the real world...".

"What was removed from us...was our school memories, right?", Hajime said

"Y-Yeah...".

"Wh-Which means...we're avatars that were created from our memories from before we entered the academy?", Kazuichi said
