Wednesday's pov:

Now where can I find a golden shell? It's a bit of a stretch to think I'd find one here but this is the only chance I've got if Bianca won't help.
-"found anything?"
Thing taps signaling he's found something.
-"a cave? Yes of course I brought my swim suit. Ugh you better be sure about this"
I say walking off to get changed. According to Thing there's a cave not far from here that may have one of the shells. After getting changed I swim out to find it.
-"Thing I can't swim much longer!"
I yell as the water continuously splashes my face. A few moments later I reach a small cave.
-"you sure about this?"
I ask. Thing signals for me to go in. I look around and see nothing, just a bunch of plain black rocks and a few broken sea shells here and there. This was a complete waste of time. Annoyed I decide to swim back to shore to wait for Tyler.
-"any luck?"
He asks.
-"not at all"
The rest of the drive back is silent.

Enid's pov:

I haven't seen Wednesday since lunch. Maybe it's for the best but I can't stop thinking about her. I'm sure she's fine, in fact I know she's fine, she's Wednesday Addams for gods sake, I just miss her. Suddenly around six I hear the door open.
-"Wednesday!"
I happily exclaim.
-"um I mean, back so soon?"
I say trying not to show how much I missed her. She looks blankly at me.
-"I was just at the shore trying to find something to help break the spell"
She says.
-"is this really such a bad thing?"
I ask.
-"of course it is! Why does everyone keep asking that? We're friends Enid! Your my best friend in fact!"
Before I could get happy she interrupts.
-"tell anyone I said that and your dead"
-"understood"
I say with a slight grin.
-"does it bother you that I wanna kiss you right now?"
I ask looking down at her lips then up into her eyes.
-"no..but I can't reciprocate Enid"
-"right..."
-"you like Ajax, remember? Just focus on him, goodnight"
She says kissing my forehead before turning off the lights. Great. Now how was I supposed to focus on Ajax?

Wednesday's pov:

Sadly it's time for another one of my mandatory therapy sessions. Whoopee.
-"so how have you been Wednesday?"
-"fine."
-"anything interesting these past few days?"
-"nope."
-"anything bugging you at all?"
-"only my roommate"
I say without thinking. Damn it. Now I've opened room for more questions.
-"your roommate? How so?"
She asks with a smile.
-"she's been trying to kiss me every night"
She looks shocked.
-"oh and how does that make you feel?"
She asks, clearly becoming interested.
-"I pity her"
-"now why would you pity someone who loves you?"
She say's trying to put me in a false sense of safety.
-"she doesn't love me she's under a spell"
-"now I know your not used to this but no need to make stuff u-"
-"no I mean she is literally under a siren love spell"
I say, getting annoyed.
-"oh.."
She replies.
-"and how are you dealing with that?"
I think back to all the heated moments me and Enid had shared the past few days.
-"I threatened the one who put her under the spell. When that failed I tried to find the only other thing that might break it but it no avail"
-"well what was it you needed to find?"
-"an authentic golden shell"
She looks as though she's thinking.
-"Wednesday how do you feel about your roommate"
-"she's annoying but sadly we're friends"
-"that's all?"
-"yes."
-"well I'm glad you've at least made a friend"
She says with a smile.
-"now I think I actually might be able to help you with your little situation"
She says getting up.
-"how so?"
I ask, watching her as she walks over to a closed cabinet.
-"I found this a few years ago when I was in Fiji"
She says pulling out a fully golden shell. I couldn't believe my eyes.
-"it's pretty neat but I have no real use for it, if you need it it's all yours"
She says handing it to me. I hide my excitement.
-"this is most appreciated"
I say, placing it in my bag.
-"consider this a reward for making it through a full session"
She says with a smile, looking up at the clock.

Moments later principal Weems shows up to drive me back to school.
-"I'm surprised I didn't have to search the whole town for you again"
She says in an attempt to be humorous.
-"...today's session turned out to be most useful. Thought I can't guarantee I won't try to escape any future ones"
-"I'd expect nothing less"
Soon we arrive back at the school and I race up to my dorm.

Enid's pov:

I'm studying for Mrs. Thornhill's test when the door slams open. It's Wednesday.
-"I've found the shell!"
She exclaims.
-"um ok?"
-"no no you don't understand, this is what will break the spell"
-"ohhh"
I reply. Wednesday takes out her book and throws it on my bed as she looks through it.
-"ok Enid looks like you just step on it and the spell should break"
I hesitate for a moment, did I really want all this to end? Then I think about how much Wednesday couldn't stand my recent behavior. I close my eyes and step hard on the shell. It breaks and I feel lightheaded.
-"success?"
Wednesday asks eagerly.
-"I think so"
I say sitting back in the bed and I almost instantly pass out.
