Christmas (pt.2)

Yoko's pov:

-"y'know...it seems a bit quite without Xavier here"
Ajax says, taking a sip of his hot cocoa. We're in the living room watching those claymation Christmas movies eating our breakfast with the others.
-"yeah a bit, how's your leg Enid?"
Bianca asks. Enid awkwardly laughs and gives an ever so sweet smile.
-"oh y'know...better than yesterday at least!"
She replies.
-"oh by the way Wednesday, why'd your cousins leave so soon?"
Wednesday and Enid get quiet and don't really say anything for a moment.
-"they never stay for Christmas"
Wednesday replies, taking a sip of her cocoa.

-"oh"
Something must've happened.
-"how about Filbert?"
Ajax asks, with obvious blush on his face. Wednesday looks at him for a moment.
-"none of my family stay for Christmas except aunt Ophelia and cousin Itt on occasion. And I don't quite understand your intentions with Filbert"
She replies. Enid leans over and whispers something to Wednesday. Wednesday's eyes widen.
-"really?"
She asks. Enid nods.
-"are you sure?"
-"almost 100%"
Enid replies.

-"oh. So you have romantic interest in Filbert"
Me and Ajax nearly spit out our drinks. Tf!? I thought Ajax was just being his normal good guy self and befriending him! He is blushing though so...maybe not?

Enid's pov:

Wednesday helps me outside in the snow while the others eagerly follow behind. She guides me to a bench and has Lurch fetch me a heater. She's really been babying me.
-"can I get you anything else?"
She asks while the others begin throwing snow balls.
-"no I'm good, thanks"
I try to get up with my crutches and she blocks my way.
-"why are you getting up then?"
-"um cuz I wanna play too?"
-"but...but your ankle! A-and your still just barely getting used to the crutches and-"
I give her a quick kiss and she stops talking.

-"Wednesday Addams I literally fought and...well ok I didn't win per se but I did survive and stall a Hyde!"
She thinks for a moment.
-"well...yes but-"
-"but you think I'd be seriously hurt from Xavier? Please"
I say with a slight laugh. She glances over at the others playing and sighs.
-"ok ok but I'm on your team"
-"duh!"
-"and pugsley"
-"ok?"
-"and Lurch"
-"Wednesday that's cheating"

She thinks for a moment.
-"but like...your ankle"
I roll my eyes. How many times is she gonna bring this up?
-"Wednesday Addams!"
-"fine!"
She replies.
-"just don't get more hurt"
She says, rolling her eyes. I shake my head and smile.
-"I won't, don't worry so much"
