Enid's pov:

-"point grammy!"
The announcer calls out and we all clap.
-"woooo! Go Grammy!"
I yell, enthusiastically clapping. Wednesday turns to me.
-"I'm going on next so I better take my leave"
She says, placing her hand on my shoulder and getting ready to take off.
-"oh, ok. Good luck. Love you!"
I try to go in for a kiss but she takes off before I can. I frown a bit as she disappears in the crowd but shake it off and rejoin Lansel and Leon in the festivities.
-"oh Wednesday left already?"
Leon asks.
-"oh yeah, she's next right? You excited to watch our cousin?"
Lansel asks, with a smile.
-"obvi!"
I happily reply.

-"Ladies and gentlemen welcome our next competitors! Wednesday Addams and Felix Addams!!"
The announcer calls out and the crowd cheers.
-"beat his ass Wednesday! Wooo!"
I yell, throwing my fist in the air. I laugh with Lansel and Leon a bit before actually looking at Wednesday. She seems so...dark? Like more than usual. She looks so serious that my smile quickly starts to fade.
-"ready. Set. Begin!"

Wednesday pulls out her spear and dashes behind her opponent. Before he can turn around she moves to his side and-
-"point one goes to Wednesday Addams!"
The crowd begins clapping and my jaw almost drops as I clap and watch her.
-"woah Wednesday's like really good"
I say. Lansel and Leon nod and snicker a bit.
-"well DUH"
Lansel says with a laugh.
-"Ja, ich meine, was hast du erwartet? Hast du gedacht, dass sie so etwas sein würde Arschgeige?"
Leon laughs. I still don't understand German but I chuckle along a bit. Watching her now it's hard to believe Bianca could've ever beat Wednesday.

Morticia's pov:

-"Wednesday Addams wins!"
Uncle Buckeye announces. Me and Ophelia clap while Gomez jumps in the air and tries to rush to the front.
-"wooo! THAT'S my little girl!"
Wednesday, as always, wears no smile as she walks off the stage.
-"wow Tish! Wednesday truly does take after you and her father"
Ophelia says. I nod and laugh.
-"oh yes, she is truly something"
I reply.
-"you know who else is though?"
-"hm?"
-"that little cutie"
She says, pointing over to a tall boy with his hair tightly pulled back into a bun. It's Xavier.

I nod.
-"yes the boy truly would make a fine addition"
I say in agreement. Suddenly we hear howling.
-"yeah you go Wednesday! You're the best!"
We hear Enid yell from the front. We watch as Gomez goes over and tries to howl with her as they cheer for Wednesday. They both sure do love her.
-"unlike Wednesdays pet"
Ophelia says, giving Enid an annoyed look. I sigh and look at Enid. I truly don't get what my dark storm cloud could see in her.
-"we need to do something about this Tish"
Ophelia says. I shake my head disapprovingly.
-"the true winner will prevail. Wednesday doesn't have time for losers. If Enid loses and Xavier wins then Wednesday will go for him it's that simple"
I reply.

-"but if Enid wins?"
Ophelia asks.
-"well I suppose that would just confirm Wednesday's feelings for her"
I say with a slight frown, watching as Wednesday rejoins Enid.
-"what a pity"
Ophelia says glaring across at the two girls.

Enid's pov:

-"Enid, isn't it gonna be your round after this one?"
Leon asks.
-"hm? Oh! Yeah I guess so"
I reply. He nods.
-"should we go get you prepared?"
Leon asks.
-"maybe a bit more practice?"
Lansel chimes in. Yeahhhhh it's quite obvious I don't stand a chance huh? That's not totally my fault though I mean like have you seen Wednesdays family?? They're like fencing machines! Wednesday leans over to look at me a bit and I quickly get a mix of flustered and embarrassed feelings.

-"ummm sure. A little practice never hurt anyone"
I reply with a smile and shrug.
-"agreed"
The twins say in unison, both giving me a thumbs up.
-"ok I'll help"
Wednesday says, beginning to walk out. I quickly stop her.
-"no it's ok. I'm in good hands with the twins"

Wednesday's pov:

Enid gives me a sympathetic smile.
-"you...don't want my help?"
I don't get it. She always wants to be near me. Have I done something?
-"I want you front row cheering me on! Duh..."
She replies with a half hearted laugh. I look at her for a moment before she finally gives me a genuine smile and takes my hands.
-"please Wednesday? I wanna see if they can help and i really do want your support. I know how important fencing is to your family..."
I look at her sternly for a moment but I think i understand what she's feeling. The best I can do is show my support and do what she needs. I sigh and shrug.

-"ok, I didn't wanna help my girlfriend anyways. Go on."
I say, shooing her away. He laughs and turns to skip off but I quickly grab her hand and pull her back.
-"your gonna do great, win or lose"
I say, and then give her a quick kiss on the nose. She scrunches her nose a bit and laughs.
-"imma kick your cousins ass!"
She yells, skipping off.
-"which one??"
I hear the twins say in unison. A slight smile creeps on my face as I watch the three of them dash off.
