The last we left off shindo ainosuke had just arrived in the hospital room where Chiharu was but what happened before that let's find out

13 hours earlier...

I had woken up and saw that Chiharu was no longer in my bed 'she must have gone home' I thought to myself as I sighed slicking my hair back and it fell back over my eyes

"When I finally have her in my grasp she slips through my fingers" I said especially since I remembered who she was to me

Flashback to 7 years earlier...

I remembered the day of the accident she had and she was hit by that car it gave me so much pain when I saw her lying on the ground unmoving

When I first met her it was when I was hanging around kaoru and kojiro she was just leaning against the fence acting like nothing bothered her

I first noticed her when she had approached and I had called her over to get a closer look at her I once she was close enough I took in her appearance

She had ragged and messy hair with black eyeshadow and blue eyes she looked like she went through hell and back wearing a black top with a blue undershirt

When she spoke my heart started to skip a beat she was very sarcastic yet her attitude is what I loved about her She wasn't afraid to speak her mind and she always has smart remarks to what I say

Ever since she brought her cousin over that one time she became a little more open about her feelings talking about things that were on her mind

I kept looking at her as an admiration for me but then I soon started to idolize her but then I started to realize that I had fallen in love with her

When I kissed her she thought I was just playing with her feelings I was so heartbroken when she got hit by that car my aunts wouldn't let me in the hospital because they were cruel

Flashback to 7 years later present time...

When I saw her again as Adam and her as raindrop I thought I was hallucinating but she looked the way she did when I first saw her

She looked a little different though she wore a different style of outfit and she had short hair it looked more clean and straight

She still had that sharp attitude of her's and she had gotten some new emotions as well when I won against her in the race I saw her smile

When I had found out that she was my blind date it started to make sense to me as to why she didn't come after I heard what happened that night in the bar when I met her as shindo ainosuke

When I asked her on a date to the bar she seemed reluctant but I managed to convince her to go when she was drunk she had told me things she hasn't said before

Flashback to that night in the bar...

"I didn't want to get my heart played with again" she said when I heard this I felt pity for her whatever bastard broke her heart I felt angry

"Every guy I went on dates with would end up cheating on me the next day and I would just break up with them after that...I have pretty shitty taste in men" she told me

"all men are douchbags all they do is mess around with you and pull at your heart strings hoping to pluck out your heart a little at a time" its not true at all

"you'll never get any other way to get someone to love you" 'stop saying that' I thought to myself "I'm never going to be loved for real it's hopeless"

That night I finally snapped wanting to show her how much I love her wanting her to see how real my love was for her how much I wanted her to love me back

End of Flashback...

I was taking a shower and turned it off as I dried myself off and went out on a walk "I got to get going" I heard and a girl bumped into me

"Woah there be more careful when you bump into someone" I said "I'm so sorry" she said as she then looked at me in familiarity "are you king?" She asked

"Ah...I think I recognize you now you are iku right" I said she nodded "what are the flowers for?" I asked she frowned

"Chiharu is in the hospital right now" she said my heart ached and I panic on the inside "what happened" I said sounding calm but inside I was freaking out

"She collapsed on the ground apparently she had passed out unconscious due to stress from her job and she finally caved in" iku said

"Is she ok" I said "she should be fine but she still needs plenty of rest the one who found her was one of our cousins and she called an ambulanceto bring her to the hospital" iku said

"Thank goodness she's ok" I said in a relieved tone of voice iku looked at me and smiled "you like my cousin don't you" she said

I didn't say anything yet she could tell iku chuckled a bit and gave me the bouquet of blue roses "give her these their her favorite flower" she said

I looked at the flowers and thanked iku for making me realize that I truly did fall in love with Chiharu McGrath I held onto the bouquet of blue roses as I thought about all that time I had waited for her

I rushed to the hospital as fast as I could and opened the door to her room "are you awake" I said as she looked at me with wide eyes and then with a calm voice said my name or rather how she knew me as before "king"
