dreamwalker- prologue

3rd person pov

Darkness that's all that was seen when iku went to sleep but she wasn't expecting to get into her own dream "why does this always happen" she said

Iku walked around and found a dark puddle she cautiously peered into it and a dark hand shot out causing her to move away from the puddle

Then dark shadows started to chase her "ahhh not again why does this always seem to happen whenever I fall asleep" she said as she ran in her dream

In reality...

Watanuki's pov

I was heading to class and I just so happened to be seated next to the odd one of the class she has red orange hair which makes her completely stand out

Not to mention she's always fast asleep in class the teacher slammed her teaching stick on her desk making her startle awake

"Please try to stay awake while you're in my class miss niwa or I'll make you stand in the hall" the teacher said as the other students snicker

"Sorry Ms Kyushu" she said rubbing the back of her head in other words she's the black sheep in our class and she's good friends with my beloved himawari

The bell rang and class ended I was getting ready to leave I heard her bump her head on her desk 'is she ok?' I thought to myself

"Why am I such an outsider" her voice sounded muffled but I could hear her clearly apparently she thought everyone had left the room but not me

"Hey" I said making her jump a bit startled as she turned to look at me "I...I  didn't know a.anyone else was still in here" she said

'I think this is the first time I've heard her stutter' I thought to myself "You look tired all the time are you ok?" I asked her she looked at me with a look of pure surprise and shock on her face

"I didn't think anyone would notice" she whispered to herself but I ended up hearing her anyway "s.sorry I should get going" she said passing me

'Something strange is definitely going on  with her she's usually so carefree at least that's what himawari tells me' I thought to myself

If it is something supernatural she'll be lead to yuko's shop maybe I should follow her just in case something bad happens

Iku's pov

"I still had to pick up kagami from school ok then I have to go to the store to get groceries then I..." my vision started to blur as I leaned against the wall

"My head hurts" I hissed in pain I then realized something "was this shop always here?" I asked myself confused and looked at the shop

I then feel myself being drawn towards it but shake my head "I must be tired I need to hurry and pick up kagami then head over to get groceries" I said walking away

Watanuki's pov

I'm surprised she actually managed to avoid going into Yuko's shop but now she looks worse than before "watanuki" I heard making me jump in surprise

"Agh yuko don't do that" I said "that girl do you know her" yuko said "she's in my class" I said "hm she's not going to make it home in that condition of hers" yuko said

I paled and my eyes widened in fear 'now I'm scared for her yuko's never wrong all I can do is make sure she doesn't meet a terrible fate' I thought to myself as I ran after her

3rd person pov

Watanuki followed her to a middle school "why would she be here?" Watanuki said then iku waved at her younger cousin

"Hey kagami" iku said "you look kinda pale are you ok?" Kagami asked "oh I'm fine Nothing to worry about at all" iku said

"Liar you can't fool me you have been acting strange as of late your not your usual cheerful self" kagami said "I don't know what you mean" iku said walking away taking kagami home

'Who did she pick up whoever that little girl is they seem close' Watanuki said as he cautiously followed from behind "I think it's better if you go home and get some rest" kagami said

"I'm fine" iku said "you have dark circles under your eyes your obviously not fine" kagami deadpanned "I..." iku was cut off by kagami

"Don't even try to say your fine" kagami said then that's when everything started to fall apart on iku as she blacked out and fell to the ground

Watanuki finally came out and caught her before she hit the ground "hey" Watanuki said "Your...." kagami was surprised to say the least

"Help me with her" watanuki said kagami nodded and helped iku stand up before watanuki put her on his back 'she's light?' Watanuki thought to himself

Iku opened her eyes slightly peering at the back of watanuki's head "watanuki-san" iku said before she passed out again

Watanuki heard her 'she knows my name?' He thought to himself he walked to yuko's shop and opened the door "oh watanuki this is a surprise" yuko said

"Don't just stand there help me" watanuki said in his annoyed tone "no I think you can handle this on your own" yuko said

"What hey come on you could at least help me get her inside how rude" watanuki said as he carried her inside 'why is she so light to lift' watanuki thought to himself

Iku woke up smelling the scent of cherry blossoms "watanuki-san" she said her eyes half open "oh your awake now how are you feeling" watanuki said

"Is this a dream?" She asked "um no this is real life" he said she pinched her arm "ow" she said and watanuki sweatdropped

Iku's pov

"Why did you do that" watanuki said 'there's no way this is real' I thought to myself as I paled as I realized watanuki was right in front of me
