'This is very nerve-wracking' I thought to myself as night rikuo took a sip of sake from his sake cup 'he knows I hate crowded places he did this on purpose' I thought to myself
He touched my cheek caressing it gently "are you not enjoying yourself surely the birthday girl wants to have fun" rikuo said
I glared at him knowing full well that he knew I hated crowds "I'm gonna get you for this later" I said annoyed he pulled me in his lap
"I'm sure you will but let's enjoy your birthday together like we used to" he said "Easy for you to say that" I said as I felt anxiety go through me
He grabbed my hand and squeezed it "don't worry about that right now just try and relax" he said whispering in my ear causing me to blush
I covered my red ears and my blushing face "stop it" I said grumpily he smirked with a playful look in his eyes and held me close
I could practically feel his hot breath breathing down my neck "Your doing this on purpose to get a reaction out of me" I said
"You look cute when you're flustered" he said "master it's good to see you again oh and you brought lady kagami with you" the cat yokai said
"Ryotaneko is one of the yokai who helped that day when I rescued you" rikuo said "thank you Ryotaneko" I said "it was no problem miss" he said then gave me a catnip cocktail
"Are you trying to get me drunk" I said looking at rikuo annoyed as he had an amused look on his face "piss off" I said as he chuckled lightly
I closed my eyes and leaned against his chest "kagami" he said as I opened my eyes he was holding a red hand mirror showing our reflection

Kagami was being carried piggyback style by night rikuo "I hate you" she said as she sobered up "you awake now" night rikuo said
"You took me there full well I hate crowds yet you completely ignored my complaints" she said "I took you to a place where you can relax" he said
"Shut up I'll make you pay for this" she said as she wrapped her arms around his neck and held onto him while he carried her
"Neh rikuo" she said "hm...yes your highness what can I do for you" night rikuo said teasingly she smacked the back of his head telling him to take it seriously
"I was just kidding" he said as he slowly carried her back home "how come you like me I don't have any good qualities about me" she said holding onto him
He stopped walking to think about it "let's see here what do I find so fascinating about you for instance" he said
Kagami looks at him expectantly waiting for his answer "I like your personality, your reactions, your eyes, your voice" rikuo said surprising Kagami
"This is only a small portion of the things that I love about you" rikuo said as he carried her she leaned against his back
"Hey rikuo" she said "yes" he said "I have my answer for you know" she said "is that so and what's your answer" he said
"I think I'm going to try my best to be a good girlfriend for you" she said rikuo was shocked but then smiled at her
"Another thing that I like about you you never cease to amaze me your full of surprises" he said as he brought Kagami home and she went to bed and fell asleep
