Kagami was all packed and she went to bed falling asleep and waking up the next morning to go to the train station to get on the train
Kagami's pov
I was reading a book while they were playing Indian poker, oops I mean yokai poker which kiyotsugu prefers to call it over the actual thing
"Are you sure you don't want to play with us kujo kun" kiyotsugu said "no thank you I would rather read" I said as I flipped to the next page
"And now" kiyotsugu said only to yell in disappointment "natto kozo again" kiyotsugu said "as usual nura is lucky" shima said
"Someone sounds jealous" I said not looking up from my book but I could tell that shima was glaring holes into my head
"Glaring at me will not fix your losing streak" I said still reading "what are you reading kujo san" yura said I showed her the title of the book
"I'm reading an old story that my mother made she was actually pretty good at writing before she became a stay at home mom" I said
"Right I forgot your mother was an author wasn't she" rikuo said "it didn't work out for her too well" I said as I continue reading the book
"It's a shame nobody bought these this book is a good read" I said "midsummer eve" rikuo said reading the title of the book
"Not everyone is meant for the thing they dream about sometimes they have to achieve their goals to succeed in life" I said
"That sounds like a good quote did you read it from somewhere" kana said "no actually I just thought of it off the top of my head" I said
"So kujo san I understand you and nura are childhood friends even long before me and rikuo were friends" kana said sounding a little jealous
"Why jealous that you didn't know him first" I said "no" she said 'liar' I thought to myself "I grew up with him mostly because our parents got along so well" I said
"So why were you avoiding him for 4 years" yura said this made me slam my book shut "yura I would appreciate it if you would not talk about this topic" I said my aura growing deadly
I heard my phone ring and I went to answer it "hello iku" I said "how'd you know it was me" iku said through the phone
"Who else would call me at this time of day" I said "well I heard you were going on a trip to Mount nejireme are you going to make up with rikuo" she said
I hung up immediately after she said that "who was calling you kujo san" yura said "my cousin is so nosy" I said as I opened the book back to where I left off
After the train ride...
We had arrived at mount nejireme and I could only groan at the sight of all the long staircase "God this is torture" I said in annoyance as I sat down

"Kagami are you really going to give up before we even get started" kana said "you see I don't usually have to walk up long staircases so don't you start with me kana" I said
"I'll help you walk kagami" rikuo said I looked up at him "no thanks I'll walk up when I'm ready don't wait up for me" I said
"Suit yourself" torii said I yawned loudly and stretched as I glanced at a tree 'I can sense a yokai nearby' I thought to myself
"Byakuya" I said summoning my spirit beast "I want you to look around the area and if trouble occurs protect the others" I said
Byakuya nodded and ran off as I looked up at the sky the sun was going down soon and I got up carrying my bag and walked up the stairs
I came to the villa at the top of the mountain and went to the girls room setting my bag down I walked back out of the room only to collide with rikuo making him fall on top of me
"Oh kujo san has Decided to join us" kiyotsugu said "are you ok kagami chan" Tsurara said as rikuo got off me and helped me up
"I'm fine more or less what are you guys up to" I said "we're going yokai hunting" shima said "mind if I join you all" I said "of course not the more the merrier" kiyotsugu said We went outside with flashlights in hand
Rikuo's pov
Tsurara pushed me to walk beside kagami and I was pretty much walking stiffly while beside her "You ok there?" Kagami asked me
"Oh yeah I'm fine just a little stiff is all" I said rubbing the back of my neck I saw kagami look behind her glaring at the direction she was looking
"Kagami" I said snapping her out of her thoughts "hm what was that" she said "would you..." I was cut off by Tsurara "so kagami chan how have you been" she said
"I've been decent...but you know it's rude to suddenly cut into someone's conversation while their talking Tsurara" kagami said scolding Tsurara
"Sorry" Tsurara said 'I completely forgot we weren't alone' I thought to myself blushing immensely in embarrassment as I sighed
"Where are they going?" Kagami asked as we saw shima and kiyotsugu walk in separate directions "I'm going after kiyotsugu you guys go after shima" I said as I ran after kiyotsugu
Kagami's pov
I was following Tsurara as we were looking for shima then I heard something as I pushed Tsurara out of the way barely dodging it as a cut appeared on my cheek "so your one of the yokai I sensed earlier" I said
"Gozumaru" I said Tsurara had turned into snow woman and gozumaru smirked "you will not live much longer I will be the one to take your life" he said
