iku niwa, Hikari's cousin part 2

3rd person pov

Peter had to go and jinx it he saw Hikari was passed out unconscious 'damn it that explosion caused her to get a concussion' he thought to himself

Peter's pov

"Ok now I have to drop her off somewhere safe where she won't get hurt" I said as I carefully picked her up and carried her to safety

"Peter" I heard and saw iku "can you take care of Hikari I have something to do" I said she looked between me and Hikari and nodded as I left Hikari in iku's care

I ran off and changed quickly into my Spider-man suit "ok now to deal with sandman" I said and went to deal with the problem

Hikari's pov

"Hikari please wake up, Hikari" I heard and opened my eyes 'agh my head hurts' I thought to myself as I opened my eyes "are you ok" I heard as I turned my gazes toward iku

"What happened?" I asked "the sandman is attacking the school" iku said "figures" I said as I stood up she grabbed my arm

"You want to get payback" she said "Yeah I guess you can say that" I said she gave me a sneaky smirk she put a necklace on me

"What's this?" I asked "just say Soundwaves on" she said "soundwaves on?" I asked confused and I started glowing and my whole appearance changed

"This...this is" I said looking at my appearance "say hello to dropbeat" she said "how is this even possible" I said with shock showing on my face

"Shh you want the everyone to hear you" iku said I sighed "do I have to go out in this get-up" I said "you want to get payback don't you" she said

"Yes" I groaned "and you want to help Spider-man Don't you" iku said "yeeees" I groaned "then you gotta keep your identity safe and sound" she said

'I guess she does have a point' I thought to myself "Ok maybe you're right" I said "good now go and help out Spider-man" she said

Peter's pov

I was knocked into the wall 'Ok so maybe calling him a sandbag wasn't exactly my smartest decision' I thought to myself

"You can't beat me on your own" sandman said I gulped 'for once he might be right about that' I thought to myself

"Hey" I heard and saw someone punch flint Marko up in the air causing him to fall to the ground "what the...?" I said as I looked over and saw a figure

"Nobody does that to me and gets away with it" sandman said "hey run" I said but sandman started to attack the person but...

'Woah she's fast she looks like she can dodge all his punches with no problems at all' I thought to myself she shot out a vibration from her fist

This knocked sandman to the ground 'sound vibrations?' I thought to myself "I'll kill you" sandman said as she kicked him

"Woah I have to admit that was incredible" I said as sandman was knocked out cold by the mysterious figure

She started to walk away but I stopped her "hey wait a second" I said she stopped and turned around to see me "what did you want something?" She asked

"Well I appreciate the help but could you perhaps tell me who you are?" I asked "why would you want to know a silly thing like that" she said

I could clearly sense a hint of amusement in her voice "just wanted to thank the person who helped me out" I said

"You can call me dropbeat" she said as she walked away from me "wow never have I met such a mysterious person before" I said

'Well except maybe of course Hikari' I thought to myself as I suddenly remembered "crap Hikari is probably awake by now" I said

'I left her with her cousin iku she probably won't be happy with that' I thought to myself as I quickly swung away and changed into my normal clothes

I ran over and saw Hikari talking to her cousin iku I breathed in and out I walked over to Hikari making my way over I felt a bit nervous about how she was going to react

"Hey Hikari" I said she turned to face me with her normal smile "hey Peter" she said "sorry about leaving you like that" I said

"No big deal iku filled me in so I don't mind at all" she said "are you sure I do feel a bit guilty" I said she pulled my shoulder and kissed my cheek

"Don't give it another thought ok I need to head home now see you Peter" she said as she walked away from me I heard squealing

"You guys would make such a cute couple" iku said "ah hah you think so" I said blushing "you can't fool me you like my cousin don't you" she said

"I don't know what your talking about" I said sweating bullets nervously "your voice cracked you totally like her" she said giggling

"Ok ok I like her just don't tell her please I don't want her to know yet" I said "Don't worry I won't spoil it for you" she said

"Yet..." I heard her mutter under her breath "hey!" I said she giggled "just kidding gotta go catch up with Hikari before she leaves me behind" she said I sighed

'strange cousin' I thought to myself I started to walk home myself I wonder why I think there's all of this strange stuff around me' I thought to myself

I heard the crickets come out and I looked up at the stars in the sky 'well it has been a rather eventful day' I thought to myself

'I didn't get the chance to ask her to the dance but I'm sure I've got plenty of time to ask her it's not until two weeks' I thought to myself "I need to man up and tell her at some point" I said 'I know I will'
