Etsuko vargas half vampire and she can see ghosts and she can somehow see stands despite not having a stand herself after a visit from her cousins she's about to have an encounter with her soulmate
Etsuko's pov
I was sweeping the front of the vargas book and antique store while the streets were partly empty and I look up to see a familiar face
"Kagami?" I asked confused as I thought I was seeing things "Etsuko" she said and went to hug me "I missed you" she said

"I missed you too but what are you doing here you're not here alone are you" I said worried that she came on her own
"No Chiharu is here too but we got separated by a crowd at the airport I wanted to see you over spring break" kagami said
"Is that right? well Chiharu knows how to get here on her own she would probably go straight here as soon as possible" I said
"But you also shouldn't run away like that you should have waited for her to find you" I said pinching her cheek firmly
"I know but she takes too long" kagami said "I'm sure it wouldn't kill you to wait a few minutes until she gets here my apartment above the store has 2 extra bedrooms you and chiharu can sleep in" I said
"That sounds nice by the way Chiharu finally has a boyfriend" kagami "Oh? Is he nice?" I asked "Well he's a bit weird" kagami said
I chuckled "as long as him and Chiharu get along that's all that matters now why don't you head inside and I'll make you some hot cocoa when I'm done cleaning" I said
"Ok" kagami said and headed inside I smiled as I watched her head inside 'she's such a sweet kid it's too bad she has a hard time expressing herself in front of others' I thought to myself as I continue sweeping the front of the store
3rd person pov
Meanwhile...
Bruno bucciarati the mafia capo has no idea he's about to meet his soulmate he's currently walking around with fugo
Bruno's pov
"I wonder if there's another mafia boss in the area the streets have been quiet as of late" fugo said "I can't help but agree it is a bit odd" I said
"Do you think we should go and investigate the cause of it" fugo said "we could..." I cut myself off seeing the one that has caught my eye these last few days
"Capo?" Fugo said then saw who I was looking at "ah I see who your looking at it's none of my business but shouldn't you at least try to tk to her" fugo said
This got my attention "sorry it seems I got distracted" I said rubbing the back of my neck "even I can see that you like her every time we pass by the shop in this area you always stop to look at her" fugo said
"Well I suppose we should get going" I said ignoring fugo then I felt fugo intentionally trip me making me almost fall

"Watch out" I said as I landed on top of her but thankfully I kept her back from hitting the ground she looked at me with big doe eyes
"I am most terribly sorry Bella" I said as I helped her up from the fall that we both took "it's ok I'm used to it" she said dusting herself off
She had a slight accent in her voice she sounded more English than Italian which surprised me in a way I suppose "Pardon me your accent is very interesting" I said
"Oh right I suppose my accent is strange I'm only half Italian I lived most of my life in italy but my mother is part japanese so" she said
'I suppose that makes sense' I thought to myself "now I'm rambling aren't I...oh I forgot to introduce myself my name is Etsuko vargas" she said
"It is lovely to meet you caramia" I said picking up her hand and kissing her knuckles gently "my name is Bruno bucciarati" I said
Etsuko's pov
My heart started beating rapidly he just kissed my hand 'this rapid heart rate is he my soulmate' I thought to myself "it's nice to make your acquaintance" I said bowing slightly
"Sorry I'm a little awkward when it comes to introducing myself to new people" I said rubbing the back of my neck nervously
"Etsuko" I heard kagami say and grabbed my waist "if you're done flirting could you make me some hot chocolate now" she said
My cheeks burned red with blush "I was not flirting get inside and wait for Chiharu to get here" I said kagami smirked knowing she was sneaky
"I'm so sorry about her she's my cousin who's coming to visit for the weekend" I said blushing immensely in embarrassment
"Well it was nice meeting you caramia I must be off now until we meet again" he said as my ears turned red in embarrassment
I saw Chiharu pass by Bruno and raised an eyebrow at my red face she looked at me then back at bruno "is he your boyfriend or something" she said
"No" I squeaked "what are you a mouse" she said "shut up" I said "So do you like him" she said "I think I'm in love" I said blushing
Bruno's pov
I felt myself smiling as I had finally got a chance to talk to my beloved by almost falling on top of her "are you ok capo?" Fugo said
"Yes I'm perfectly fine no thanks to you" I said a little annoyed that fugo had made me trip onto my beloved my making me almost fall on her
"I'll make sure to properly scold you later" I said as we both headed back to the mansion so we could get some good nights rest for the next day
