Luciano vargas the big mafia boss who rules with an iron fist in all of italy he also happens to be Etsuko father he's also very overprotective of his daughter

Etsuko's pov

Papi was glaring at Bruno who was frozen in place while I sighed "Papi I know you mean well but do you really have to be so overprotective of me" I said

"I'm only looking out for you my piccola" Papi said I said "took you long enough to get here" I heard and saw kagami as she was already here

"Papi why is kagami here?" I asked "she wandered here by herself" Papi said "ara ara it seems like I'm not the only one who ran out of the house" Chiharu said smirking

"I will eviscerate you" I growled at Chiharu who just shrugged "now now Luciano there's no need to be so overprotective" mom said

"Of course there is why did you bring two beasts here they will probably eat Etsuko alive" Papi said "ugh...Papi I'm a very capable adult I can take care of myself" I said

"But my piccola who's going to watch over you" Papi said "I'm not danger prone but so help me you do anything embarrassing...ti spezzo il collo" I said

My father actually shivered at the cold tone in my voice and I saw bruno sweat bullets "that doesn't include you" I said as I looked at him

"What did you just say to him?" Chiharu said with a raised eyebrow "do we want to know what you said" kagami asked "it's better that you don't know" I said

"The way that she said that makes me curious now" Chiharu said looking at me "Stop looking at me I'm not going to tell you" I said

"Well them since you are all here why don't you join us for dinner" mom said the air became even more tense because of that

At dinner...

Everyone was so quiet I felt the cold shiver go up my spine 'it's so quiet I need to break this silence somehow' I thought to myself

But right after I thought that kagami spoke breaking the silence "is there a reason why nobody's talking" kagami said

"Just a bit of tension between thing one and thing two" Chiharu said referring to my father and Bruno "I do not like to be referred to as a thing" my father said

"Well we had to break the silence somehow either that or Mrs Vargas would have done it" Chiharu said 'she's right about that my mother is pretty scary when she's angry' I thought to myself

"Well I think I lost my appetite" I said as I stood up "piccola" my father said and I gave him a hard glare making him flinch and sit back down in his chair as I slammed the door to my room shut

After dinner...

Bruno's pov

I was shown to a bedroom "you like my daughter don't you" I heard Etsuko's mother say "how could you tell?" I asked she smiled

"I could tell since you have the face of a lovestruck person that's the same face that Luciano had when he fell in love with me" Etsuko's mother said

"I'm sorry about my husband glaring at you Luciano is a little sensitive when it comes to our daughter Etsuko" Etsuko's mother said

"Madam vargas" I said "please call me Cynthia I happen to know for a fact that Etsuko is very fond of you as well" she said

"It would make me very happy if I could make friends with the one my daughter has love for" she said "ok...Cynthia" I said as Etsuko's mother smiled

"If you want to go talk to her Etsuko's room is right across from yours" she said "but what about..." she cut me off with a chuckle

"Don't worry about that it happens every so often luciano gets under her skin she snaps and she sulks in her room for awhile" Etsuko's mother said

"Well I hope you have a good night" Cynthia said as she walked away 'her mother is very mysterious' I thought to myself

I was about to walk into the bedroom but looked over at Etsuko's bedroom door and thought for a moment to myself

Etsuko's pov

My father is always so overprotective of me I wish he would just stop trying to protect me I'm old enough to take care of myself

'I'm not a little girl anymore he should stop trying to depict me as a child and get to the reality that I'm a grown adult' I thought to myself

I heard a knock on my door I glanced at the door but turned away in my bed 'if it's my father I'm going to ignore him' I thought to myself I heard the door open

I felt the bed dip as I closed my eyes pretending to be fast asleep "Caramia" I heard a soft whisper 'wait that voice is that Bruno!' I thought to myself

"Are you asleep" he said I stayed quiet "well if you are asleep perhaps it would be better this way I need to say something" Bruno said

"I am madly in love with you I know you're father wouldn't allow it but I want to hope you feel the same way about me" bruno said

I turned around in my bed to face him his eyes widened in surprise and shock realizing that I was awake "e.etsuko...I  thought you were fast asleep" Bruno said

"Is it true" I said "huh" he said "do you mean what you say when you said that you love me" I said blushing immensely at hearing him say such sweet things

Bruno was a bit shocked but he slowly smiled and grabbed both my hands "I meant every single word of it I love you etsuko vargas" he said as I smashed my lips on his
