Mini Ep 6 Uh Oh! Missile Toad!

Merry holidays I'm spending my time watching food theory episodes about the holidays. I learned some fun statistics about how santa should technically be dead from his calorie and alcohol intake. Fun stuff. I know it's been a bit but I'll treat you to a holiday gift. Fun fact: the santa tracker thing is run by the US Air Force. Another fun fact: Y'all are great.

Winter. Cold and dark. Perfect time to cozy up under a nice soft blanket and drink hot chocolate while watching the snow fall or maybe even watch some TV. It's even better if it's with someone you care about very very much.

"So why are we watching a toddler cartoon about dogs again?" Kuboyasu asked Y/N, who was snuggled up beside him.

"Cuz it makes me happy. I dunno why. It just does." Y/N wrapped a blanket around them nice and tight. "I also think it's a nice way to end the day we had." They laid their head onto his shoulder and reminised about the day.

~ Flashback ~

Y/N stood outside Kuboyasu's house bundled up in a big warm coat with a bag at their side. It was snowing and the temperature outside was sub zero. But that didn't stop them from spending time with their sweetie. They raised a a cold shakey gloved hand and bashed it against the door to alert that they were there.

The door slammed open. "Kid what are you doing out here?!" It was Rean (Kuboyasu's dad for who don't remember) who looked angry but he always sorta looks that way. "Get in here before you freeze to death!"

Y/N wobbled their way inside. "I brought a Christmas pie." They pulled a big ol pie from th bag they were carrying. "It has plums. I think they're an underrated fruit. The only reason why it's a Christmas pie is because I got the idea from a nursery rhyme."

"Did you come here just to bring us a pie?" Though it was hard to tell by his resting bitch face but he was either impressed or wondering about Y/N's stupidity.

"Of course not!" They put down their bag and started to take off their winter gear. "I came to spend time with y'all. Mostly your son but I think you knew that already." They chuckled not realizing how 'bold' their statement was.

"Uh alright. Aren!" Rean called for the boy. "There's someone here to see you!"

Aren came running from wherever he was. "Y/N!" He seemed as if he hasn't seen them in months. They had only talked on the phone a few hours ago.

Y/N set their stuff down and opened their arms for a big warm hug which Kuboyasu happily gave them. He put his arms under his T posing lover before picking them up and spinning them around as if they were in a movie.

"I brought pie! I wanna watch TV and eat an entire pie with you!" Y/N yelled as they were spun around like a merry go round on crack.

~Flashback over~

Y/N looks over to the empty pie tin in the dark room. They only reason why they could see the tin I because of the funny blue dog cartoon. In this moment Y/N had a realization. 'Damn. We barely did anything today'

Y/N decided that a good way to be more productive Was to clean lint out of their pockets and tuck them between or under couch cushions. As they were cleaning out their pockets they had found a keychain they thought they lost. It was a that'd with a missile tied to its back with a ribbon. A missile Toad (mistletoe).

"Oi Kuboyasu" They dangled the keychain over their boyfriend who seemed really into the episode on TV. He looked like he was gonna cry from how wholesome the show was. "Kiss me under the missile Toad."

He looked up at the keychain in confusion."Ohh like mistletoe" It took him a minute but he got it.

He pulled Y/N nice and close before lovingly cupping their face. He slowly leaned in and pressed his lips against theirs. Loving. Warm. Passionate. Like a home made cup of hot chocolate on a cold winter night.
