Tk laid his head on his dad's lap as his dad ran his fingers through his hair " how long ?" Owen asked as he could feel his son's tears falling onto his lap "a week or so." tk mumbled, " why didn't you come to talk to me and tell you how you were feeling. ." Owen said but tk don't answer " does Carlos know ?" Owen asked " no I don't want him to have to worry about this." tk said right before his phone rang " it's Carlos." tk mumbled sitting up
" hey ." tk answered wiping his tears "tk it's Mitchell," Lexi said on the other side
of the phone " Carlos got shot on a call he's in the hospital ." Mitchell said
Owen came with tk to the hospital tk was already in a fragile state this could be the final thing to break his own feared
" kiddo it's gonna be okay ." Owen said hugging tk " I can't lose anybody else, dad ." Tk cried " you and Carlos are all I have ..." tk cried "you're not gonna lose Carlos okay he's a fighter."
Tk waited for Carlos to be out of surgery his dad trying to keep him preoccupied with talking about climate change and the color he wanted to paint his master bath he
"Family of Carlos Reyes?" the doctor called tl stood up anxiously "we got the bullet out and he will heal like brand new ." the doctor said owem said his goodbyes to tk telling him to wish Carlos all the best for him and let to go see Carlos
" hey tiger," Carlos mumbled garlic was out of it but he could still see how red-rimmed tks eyes were "I'm okay ." Carlos said reaching his hand out for tk "I'm okay ." Carlos said again as tk placed A kiss on his head
The next day Carlos got discharged to go home tk they drove him back to the Condo and got him set up in bed "tk -" Carlos said " hm ?" tk said " your bleeding ." Carlos pointed out on tks jeans the small puddle "that's nothing you don't need to worry ." tk mumbled nervously " ty ." Carlos said holding tks hand " what is it ?" Carlos said he could tell tk was scared
" I won't judge okay ?" Carlos said " I hurt myself sometimes.." tk said as tears came down the side of his face " what do you mean you hurt yourself ." Carlos said as tk sat on the bed to dig in his pocket Handing Carlos a blade " I cut sometimes .. it's been getting worse ..." tk cried " shh it's okay .." Carlos said taking tk into his arms "I'm so sorry ..." tk said as he dug his face into Carlos's chest " I'm so sorry" tk said as Carlos wrapped his arms around him " your okay." Carlos said
Later that night they lay in bed together watching a show " are you mad ?" Tk asked looking up at Carlos " why would I be mad ." Carlos said, " you did nothing wrong." Carlos said, "I'm glad you felt comfortable enough with me and us to tell me ." Carlos said, " I know it can't be easy ." Carlos said kissing the top of Tk's head
Flashback
" Tk !" Alex yelled from the bedroom to come rushing to the bedroom " what the fuck is this ." Alex asked holding a blade covered in blood " is this your blood ?" Alex yelled but when tk didn't say anything and just nodded. " where !" Alex yelled pushing tk onto the bed " Alex stop !" Tk cried as Alex removed all of Tk's clothing till he was naked and found what he was looking for " BITCH !" Alex yelled " Alex stop please .." tk cried " fucking disgusting ." Alex said looking at the scars on Tk's right thigh " fucking disgusting." Alex said throwing the blade at Tk's naked body " fucking bitch making me look bad ." Alex said
"Your lucky you fucking have me 'cause no other man is gonna love a runt like you ." Alex said " fucking cutting yourself tk ." Alex said, " you wait here just like this until I'm ready to fuck some sense into you later ." Alex said walking out of the room

Tk lay in Carlos's arms Carlos just kissed his head "you're beautiful." Carlos said, " you know that ." Carlos said tk just smiling " thank you ." Tk said, " for understanding me -." Tk said, " I'm always here anytime if you wanna talk I'm here ." Carlos said
