Tk was never a big fan of his birthday he didn't hate it but he never really loved it either
He woke up around five with incredible nausea and threw up everything that was in his system he had a fever and he was so tired this birthday would be one for the books
Carlos woke up to the sunlight pouting through the windows but when he turned over to kiss Tk he wasn't there " babe ?" Carlos called as he noticed Tk was no where to be found
"In here .." Tk mumbled sliding open the bathroom door
Tk had been laying on the floor with a pillow and a blanket all night
"What's wrong ?" Carlos said coming into the bathroom " im sick" Tk said rubbing his eyes " why didn't you wake me?" Carlos asked rubbing tks hair out of his face " I didn't want to disturb you ." Tk mumbled " thought I could brush it off ." Tk said as Carlos supported his head
"Cmon lets you get back to bed it's still early ." Carlos said picking Tk up
" get some more sleep my love im gonna go make you your birthday breakfast." Carlos said kissing Tk's head " you don't have to ." tk said softly " are you kidding me it's your birthday and cooking is one of the many ways I express my love ." Carlos said
By the time Carlos was done cooking he came back to see Tk sleeping on the bed he gently shook Tk He gently placed a kiss on Tk's head but quickly noticed hew was burning up " Ty baby wake up ." Carlos said " I think you've got a fever .." Carlos said "I'm tired .." Tk said clearly out of it " I know baby .. just let me take your temp." Carlos said he put the thermometer in Tk's ear "102 baby ." Carlos said brushing Tk's hair out of his face "I'm sorry I keep making your Life difficult -." Tk said as Carlos sat on the edge of the bed " stop talking about my fiancé like that ." Carlos teased " I'm just sorry your birthdays not that great .." Carlos said " better than listening to my parents fight all day ." Tk said
Tk went back to work the next day seeing Lucy by the rig " I heard you had a very interesting birthday ." Lucy laughed " yeah was put on bed rest for the whole day .." Tk said " yeah what was that all about.." Lucy said " I don't know I probably had a stomach bug or something ." Tk said " Paul's making omelets in the kitchen you coming ?" Lucy said "I'm okay not really hungry ." Tk said " is there something you need to talk about ?" Lucy said coming back to Tk " because I'm here ." Lucy said "I'm okay .." Tk said giving her a smile " your losing weight your already thin to begin with but your thinner recently .." Lucy said " I swear - I'm fine I just don't have much of an appetite recently .." Tk said
It was true he wasn't lying his appetite decreased -
He was loosing weight but not intentionally -
Tk was doing inventory when he started get dizzy " you okay ?" Tommy asked "yeah ." Tk said rubbing his face " are you sure you should be back to work today sweetheart you don't seem well .." Tommy said " I'm - I'm okay cap ." Tk said " your losing weight everyone's noticed .." Tommy said "are you struggling again if so we can go talk to your dad you can take some time -." Tommy said " cap I'm telling you I'm not struggling .. I don't know I'm just loosing weight its probably a stomach bug or something - I'm not struggling ." Tk said " you don't believe me ?" Tk asked looking at Tommy's face " lets go to my office and talk some more ." Tommy said
When they got up there Tommy sat down " Tk are you sure everything fine ?" Tommy said "cap I'm telling you the truth - I'm in therapy I'm not struggling I was sick yesterday maybe that has something to do with it .." Tk said " then why are you losing weight ?" Tommy asked " I don't know everyone likes to say I'm twiggy to begin with around here ." Tk said " your loosing weight , your pale , you were sick the other day .." Tommy said " not to mention whatever that was in the ambulance .." Tommy said " it was just a little dizziness .." Tk said " and what happened to your arm .." Tommy asked looking at the purplish bruise that laid there " I'm not exactly sure .." Tk said " go home rest come back tomorrow and eat a good meal sweetheart .. take care of yourself ." Tommy said
Tk cam home seeing Carlos it the kitchen " hey you ." Tk smiled " your home early ." Carlos smiled " don't even get me started ." Tk said " bad day back ?" Carlos asked " everyone thought my eating disorder was back ." Tk said " is it ?" Carlos asked " Jesus for the love of god no ." Tk said " you have been losing weight ." Carlos said " seriously you to ." Tk said walking away " people are just trying to make sure that your okay ." Carlos said "I'm in therapy I've been good I dont know why I'm losing weight ." Tk said
Carlos was closing up downstairs when he heard something fall upstairs "Ty ?" When he got no response he ran upstairs "Tk ?" Carlos called from the hallway " I'm fine ." Tk breathed out as he sat up on the floor "what happened ?" Carlos asked helping Tk up " I just got dizzy ." Tk said "dizzy?" Carlos said " has that been happening a lot ?" "A few times its nothing serious .." Tk said " I'm taking you to the hospital something's not right ." Carlos said " I'm fine babe ." Tk said "no your not .. this this isn't you something wrong ." Carlos said " I have work tomorrow ." Tk said " you can't take care of other people if you can't take car of yourself ." Carlos said
