Carlos went home and hid the ring in the kitchen in a box of seaweed chips

Tk wouldn't be home till early morning since he's been working a 24hr so Carlos had a while he wondered if he should go to the station maybe bring some dinner over or not so he messaged Tk

Carls wrapped his arm around Tk kissing his head lightly "these tacos are the bomb He's a keeper ." Marian said "shut up ." Tk said Lucy came into the kitchen "you must be the famous Carlos ." Lucy smiled "Tk talks about you a lot ." Lucy smiled as she poured. Cup of coffee " yeah a lot ." Paul teased "shut up both of you ." Tk said

Carlos and Tk separated from the rest of the crew heading up to the bunks to talk " you okay ?" Tk asked leaning against the wall " yeah why ?" Carlos asked "you asked to come by I figured something was wrong ." Tk said stroking Carlos's face "I just missed my boy ." Carlos said kissing Tk's head

"Lucy seems nice ." Carlos said "yeah she is ." Tk smiled resting his head on carlos's shoulder "you tired ?" Carlos asked rubbing Tk's hand "sorta mostly wanna go home .." tk said "just a few more hours baby ." Carlos said "have you eaten ?" Carlos asked "yeah ." When Carlos had woken up that next morning with Tk next to him Tk probably got in around 7 knowing that he didn't get of his shift Till 6:30am he had felt Tk climb into bed softly before placing a kiss into his hair

Carlos knew Tk wouldn't be up until 11 it was only 9 now Carlos figured he could get up and start on breakfast he could take his time listen to his music Carlos tried to journey out of bed but Tk's hand stopped him "stay please ." Tk mumbled Carlos sat back down " I was just gonna let you come home an get some sleep baby only for. Few hours ." Carlos said "you are my home ." Tk said "please los ." Tk said "of course ." Carlos said laying back down Tk nestled his head on Carlos's chest an arm laid across his stomach Carlos had grabbed his book of the nightstand "read to me ?" Tk asked shyly Carlos just smiled

It might seem stupid but this was them lazy mornings in bed , reading ,cuddling and Carlos wouldn't have it any other way when Tk woke up again Carlos was still there "Your here still." Tk smiled " you asked me to ." Carlos smiled

Later that night Tk laid awake watching Carlos sleep Tk tapped Carlos's shoulder "baby ." Tk said softly "Carlos ..wake up." Tk said Carlos sat up "what's the matter ?" Carlos asked "nothing .." Tk smiled " marry me .." Tk blurted out Carlos let out a little laugh causing Tk to worry "I'm sorry -." Tk cut off of the verge of panic "no no baby I'm sorry I wasn't -." Carlos said " I fucked everything up ." Tk said panicking " baby sit down ." Carlos smiled "I would love nothing more than to marry you ." Carlos said "right I'm supposed to have the ring out shit I suck at this ." Tk laughed nervously Tk opened the ring box "can I ?" Tk asked with tears in his eyes Carlos nodded his head as he held back his own tears "I love you ." Carlos said kissing Tk "your not just saying yes because your trying to make me feel better ?" Carlos got the ring box and walked back to the bedroom " I wanted you to have something special not only to remember this but your mom so your dad lent me some of your moms old jewelry .." Carlos said opening the box "Carlos .." Tk said as he started to cry more Tk tried to stop himself but it was no use "come here ." Carlos said pulling Tk in for a hug "I love you so much .." Carlos smiled a a few tears escaped his own eyes a he could feel Tk's tears soaking his shirt "I love you .." Tk cried "I'm sorry I'm a mess .." Tk said as a laugh escaped " thank you .." Tk said as more tears came down " tk strand will you marry me ?" Carlos asked " yes ." Tk cried " can I put it on ?" Carlos asked wiping Tk's tears he slid the ring on Tk's finger before pulling him in for a kiss
