"THERE, much more neat," Johnathan Parker said, patting his sons shoulder after finishing tying his tie for him.

"we're going to head out now," charlotte said, standing up from her parents bed.

"will you two be coming back here after or to your places?" asked their dad.

"i think i'm gonna stay the night at sadie's," charlotte replied, passing jude his coat.

"i'll be going to my place i guess," jude said.

"alright well come back at visit us soon again then, alright?" their dad sighed, kissing the crown of the twins heads, though they're definitely too old for that. it's not like they could get him to stop though. "say bye to your mother."

charlotte nodded and followed jude out the room and called down from the stairs bye to their mom before exiting the house and getting into the car and saying hello to their driver. jude gave the address to billie's event and sat down across his sister.

"hey guess who's gonna be there," jude grinned.

"who?"

"JJ Abrams' daughter. matthew told me last night, he thought he'd give us the warning."

charlotte groaned, "great, that just means we gotta stray away from her all night before a camera sees it. and then mom and dad." jude nodded in response. "what's her name again?"

"gracie," jude replied. "i met her once actually. like a year ago when dad ran into her dad at some premier and began throwing disses at him. we both just kinda stood there awkwardly. she looks nice though."

"she might be, but i'm assuming she'll hate our family just as much as we hate theirs," charlotte mumbled, beginning the pick at the skin on her fingers, a nervous habit she has.

"just remember that they're the ones in the wrong. her dad is the one who sued and stole a film off our family. not our dad," jude said.

charlotte nodded, adverting her gaze to out the window as she watched trees fly by her while spacing out until they would arrive at the party. by the time they got there mostly everyone was there already, and of course some paparazzi surrounding the entrance. jude opened charlottes door for her when she instantly heard the shouting.

"HEY CHARLOTTE!"

"JUDE, OVER HERE!"

"PARKER'S TO YOUR RIGHT PLEASE!"

"CHARLOTTE SMILE HERE!"

"JUDE!"

truth be told, the twins kind of enjoyed the attention at times. especially when they looked good like right now. charlotte made sure to weave a hand through her wavy hair with a smile before entering and noting to look up the pictures taken later online.

"there's your idiots, i'm gonna go look for finneas," jude said over the loud music and swiftly leaving his sister.

charlotte made her way across the room to sadie, marcus, matthew, and caleb who were all sitting at one of the bars talking.

"shit, you look so good," sadie gushed, giving charlotte a look of admiration. the redhead handed charlotte a drink, "got your usual".

charlotte smiled and leaned against the counter, "it's packed in here," she said, scanning the mutiple bodies that flooded the venue.

"yeah, eilish goes all out i guess," marcus said. "y'know the kardashians are here?"

"ok we need to meet them," charlotte said with wide eyes.
