𝐍𝐨 𝐖𝐚𝐲 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 ♛ ͏r͏a͏f͏e ͏c͏a͏m͏e͏r͏o͏n

All The Way- an epically long A/N with a lovely ending.

Hello to all my readers, fellow OBX fans and possible fellow OBX fanfiction authors.

It's been nearly a year since I made an abrupt exit from this platform to focus on myself, my life and my future.

I had many 'little' breaks coming up to that decision which was ultimately made for me as I couldn't conjure up any energy to do anything. Whether it was on here or in actual life. I had lost the love for writing, reading and day dreaming about all the characters in my head.

I needed time for myself,  to find a solid foundation to build my future on. I've worked on self love, slowly bringing everything back in that I love. I got a new library card. I joined in with sport again. I moved back to my home town. I got a wonderful job opportunity in a field which I always denied I'd go into. Not because it was bad but because I didn't think it was for me. Turns out, I was wrong. I absolutely love my new career and can see myself being in it for several years to come.

So as this March approaches —my own one year anniversary away from Wattpad— I have conquered what I took a year off to do.

I've built myself a beautiful foundation to kickstart my life on. I've found passion for writing and reading again. I got excited to watch OBX instead of daunted thinking about this novel in the background.

And for the first time in months, probably at least 6 months, I was gifted with inspiration for Maebelline Murchison again. And just between you and me, I hate to leave things unfinished.

So then I logged back on here a couple days ago. My notifications box was off the charts and now I regret not taking a picture of its number. But it was high!

I had to re-read some of my chapters because as stupid as it sounds, I'd forgotten a lot of what I had written. Since I've caught myself all back up to speed, I took a deep breath and clicked on that part 54.

I couldn't remember what was in there, where I was in with my plot but another deep dive through my notes found that answer too.

And soon you'll found out too. Hopefully all of it by this Christmas.

Because that's when I plan to have this novel done by.

So I guess if you want, you can mark this as my comeback

I'll leave you with a few questions I've wondered over the last year.

In my absence have you all conjured up your own endings? Or theories to where it's all heading?
What have you taken away with you from reading my work?
Are people still only just mow finding it or have you stuck with this since it first began in July 2020?
Will you hate me if I have to step away again? Although, I pray I won't have too.
Is Mae still a character you may find relevant?look towards for confidence? A hype you up person. Is she someone you're still willing to follow?

Now, a lighter question.
