CHAPTER 33

ARIANA LINCOLN

In the evening, I was helping Ian with his studies.

"Okay, say it again."

"Mi chiamo Ian Lincoln." Ian repeated again.
(My name is Ian Lincoln.)

"Good." I scanned his book searching for other questions "Okay, Cat in italian?"

"G-Gat?"

I shook my head "You are closer."

"Gato."

I shook my head again "Come on. You can do it."

"Gat-o-G-Gatto." He has an accent which does not fit in the Italian language. But it's okay he'll learn.

"Okay now, dog in italian?"

"Cane."

"Good."

"Horse?"

"Cave-al? Canal?"

I shook my head "Cavalli."

"Cav-Cav-al-li."

"Yes, say it again, at once."

"Cavalli."

"That's my boy."

It has been two hours since I have been helping him with his studies.

"Come on, now the last time I want your introduction in English."

He stood straight up with hands in his back and started "My name is Ian Lincoln. I am 5 years old. My Mother's name is Mrs. Ariana Lincoln and my father's name is Alessandro D'Angelo."

"Good." I smiled.

"And I am very cute." He completed.

"That wasn't needed."

He giggled.

"Okay! Now since you have completed your studies like a good boy, how about I make you cookies?"

"Cookies? Chocolate chip cookies?"

I nodded.

"Yes!! Come on! I am ready to fight!"

"Wouldn't it be ready to bake?" I corrected.

"Ah, yes! Come on! I am ready to bake!"

We headed downstairs, as we reached the kitchen Aless was there seated on a stool with his laptop, sipping coffee from a mug.

Did he make it on his own?

He was so engrossed in his work that he didn't notice us.

"Dad." Ian called making Aless turn towards us.

He smiled on seeing Ian "Hey buddy. Done studying?"

Ian sighed "Too much for the day."

I rolled my eyes making my way inside the kitchen, Aless's gaze followed me.

Ian ran in after me and asked me to place him on the island. I did and he continued talking to Aless "Mommy and I are going to bake chocolate chip cookies."

"That's great. If you need help, lemme know."

I'll prefer burning my cookies than asking for your help.

Ian showed a thumbs up.

"Mommy, first we need to make a list of the items required."

"I know it."
