I wake up to the sound of my 6 year old sage talking. " no daddy I swear last night there was a monster in you and mommy's bedroom! I heard screaming!" She says. " monster?" I say waking up
"Mommy!" Sage says and hugs me. "Morning mi amor" robin says and kisses me. " ew gross" sage says and me and robin laugh. " so tell me more about this monster" I ask sage
"Well sometimes when you and daddy put me to sleep I stand outside your door. And sometimes I hear this screaming sound and a sound from the bed. But only one time a week and I heard it last night" she tells us and our eyes widen
"Oh it's nothing. We're just watching a scary movie and jump and scream. Those are the noises your hearing" Robin says and sage nods. " ohh that makes much more sense" sage says.
"I'm going to brush my teeth and I'll make breakfast" I say. " no you made it last time it's my turn" robin says. " yeah but your like so cute you physically can't" I tell him. "Oh is that right" he says and I nod and go to the bathroom
"Well mommy's being stubborn again so let's go downstairs and I'll put on the appropriate kid friendly movie you love. Texas chainsaw massacre" robin says and I laugh
He watched it with sage a year ago and she adores the movie just like me and robin. Her favourite characters are apparently leather face and sally hardesty.
Sally is my favourite and robins is leather face. She reminds me so much of us. After I brush my teeth I see robins toothbrush still wet meaning he's been up for a while.
I go downstairs and see sage sitting on the floor by the tv and I hear chainsaw noises " is this movie really appropriate for a 6 year old?" I ask Robin getting out the pancake mix. " you can't be talking. You got pregnant at 16 and gave birth at 17"
"Yes we'll atleast I wasn't snorting cocaine at 4" I tell him. " I never did that" he says and hugs me from behind putting his head in my neck. "You might have" I say and turn around and hug him. We stay hugging for a while until we both let go so I can finish cooking breakfast
Once I'm done I put two pancakes on a plate for sage. She's crazy and doesn't like maple syrup on her pancakes. " Weird kid" robin says and shakes his head while getting a plate
" I'm not weird! You and mommy are weird for hugging and kissing all the time" sage says.
"That's only because we love each other and you'll do that too when you love someone" I tell sage and she gags
" oh come on it's not that gross" I say and sage smiles at me I smile back.
"Mommy can you take me to the park today? With daddy as well" sage says and I look over at robin
"I'm not busy today so sure!" I say and robin nods as well. Robin comes and sits beside me resting his hand on my thigh smirking.
"Robin there's a six year old sitting at this table do not even think about it" I say and laugh "Fine I'll wait till later then" he says and rubs circles on my thigh with his thumb.
Once we're done eating sage says she's gonna go play with her Barbie's. Me and robin go into our room and he walks up to me and collapses into my arms. " I'm so tired baby" he says and leaves small kisses on my neck
" me too. Sage won't mind if we have a nap right?" I say and robin nods and leads me towards the bed. I lay down and he lays on top of me and grabs the blanket covering us both up
He slightly moans getting in a comfortable position and I rub his back. After seconds I hear soft snores coming from his mouth. I kiss his head and close my eyes falling asleep.
Till this day the monster hasn't been found. And yes sage did walk in on them watching the " scary movie" that night and was traumatized
