Your pov
I'm at the mall with my boyfriend finney and my best friend Donna. Donna is batting her eyes at finney trying to get his attention.
" finney can I talk to you please.. in private without y/n?" She asks and finney agrees quickly as they run away together
I go and sit and a table confused about what happened. I look down at my watch and see fifteen minutes has passed
I get up and walk towards the bathroom. " Donna I love you" I hear finney say as I see them making out. " oh" I say and they stop and look at me
" I'm sorry" Donna says. " im sorry y/n but I don't love you anymore. I lost feelings for you and Donna is just hotter okay?" He says staring at me with no guilt in his eyes
I nod and grab my stuff and leave sniffling and crying. As I'm walking home I see Gwen. " y/n what's wrong?" She says pulling me into a hug
" your jackass brother cheated on me with Donna and didn't even regret it when I saw them making out" I say crying.
" I'm going to fucking kill him y/n I'm sorry" she says and says bye and walks away.
I start to think. Nothing has been going well with my life lately. Finney cheats on me, I loose my best friend and robin drops me and I'm getting beaten up at school. Great just great
People would be happy if I died.. right?. I look at the road and wait until there's a car coming. I see a truck and right before it passes me I run in front of it.
Last thing I feel is a pain in my head and a loud horn.
Finneys pov
I'm leaving the mall with Donna. We started dating now that I broke up with y/n. I hear a loud honk and look to the direction
" SHE JUMPED IN FRONT OF THE TRUCK I DIDNT HIT HER" the truck driver says panicking as people surround him.
Me and Donna run to see who it was and I see y/n on the ground with a puddle of blood around her.
A woman rushes to y/n and shakes her begging her to wake up. " there's no pulse" the woman says putting a hand over her mouth to muffle her sobs.
" sir you said she jumped in front of the truck?" A man asks. " she was walking home from the mall crying talking about how the only people she truly cared about betrayed her. She was talking to a girl with braids and a dress and next thing I know she looked at me and then ran in front of the truck" he says
She did this because of what I did to her. I'm such a piece of shit and there's nothing I can do now. I look at Donna and she looks guilty and there's tears in her eyes
She runs away crying and I'm stuck there with my mouth open. I hear ambulance sirens and four lady's out her in a stretcher thing
I look beside me and Gwen looks at me crying shaking her head " YOU PIECE OF SHIT FINNEY. YOU KNEW ABOUT THE THINGS GOING ON IN HER LIFE. YOU KNEW SHE WAS SUICIDAL AND YOU KNEW SHE CARED ABOUT YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING AND THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY HER? GO TO FUCKING HELL" Gwen says and slaps me across the face running away from me.
" there's no pulse but we can bring her back to life" they yell at each other rushing her into the ambulance.
" can I come with her please? We were really close" I say and they nod letting me in.
They hook her up to a machine with oxygen and a bunch of other things. " please tell me she will be okay" I say begging"I can't promise anything" the doctors say not looking at me and doing everything they can to revive y/n.
Time skip
I'm sitting at the hospital. I've been here for hours and I just cant get the image out of my head. Y/n laying there with a cracked skull and blood gushing out of her.
" she's awake." A doctor says as I jump out of my chair and run to her room. " Y/N?" I say and run up to her.
" hi." She says with no emotion in her voice. " im so sorry. Im so fucking sorry. You tried to kill yourself because of me and I will never ever forgive myself for that. Im a piece of shit who took you for granted. I don't love Donna. I love you."
I say to her . She slowly turns her head and looks at me. " finney there's something you should know before you try to date me again" she says
My eyes lit up hoping I'll have a second chance with her. " I- Gwen came here earlier. We talked and talked and shared laughs together that I didn't think was possible. She showed me love when I needed it and you didn't. You gave it all to Donna. I deserve better than that. That's why you should know.."
