We've got some small jumps in the calendar here :)

Enjoy!

July 31, 2025 - Greece

"I'm proud of you," Gabby said as we lounged under the sun in the small villa we got for our stay here in Greece. We arrived two days ago, with Gabby and I only sleeping in my Monaco apartment for one night before we were preparing for the summer getaway.

When it comes to drinking and vacations, leave it to Gabby to book everything within the day.

"Thanks," I said, smiling at her before moving back to my book. "It hasn't been easy."

A scoff escaped her lips and I kicked her thigh with my leg as she laughed at me. "Hon, I know it isn't, but I wasn't talking about that." I raised an eyebrow at her as she poured us both another glass of margaritas. "I was talking about how you haven't complained once about me dragging you out of our villa every night."

"That's because before I could even do so, you're already glaring at me with your laser eyes."

To say I've been busy was an understatement. This is the first time since we arrived that we decided to have a slow day. As soon as we arrived, Gabby told me we'd be visiting the windmills, where we spent about two hours walking around and taking pictures. By the time we finished, we were famished and decided to have dinner at a restaurant that was about a fifteen-minute walk from our villa. The food was amazing, something that I knew was going to be perfect before we even arrived in Mykonos.

Because we spent almost the entire day roaming around, I expected Gabby to feel tired and call for an early night.

Boy, was I wrong.

Beside the restaurant was a bar named Calypso. When we finished dinner, people were pouring through the entrance, most of them tourists like us. I didn't even get to take another step away from the bar before Gabby grabbed my arm and pulled me inside.

Despite my reluctance, she managed to loosen me up by continuously pushing shots toward my way until I agreed to dance. Once the alcohol had hit, all thoughts that have been swirling in my head went quiet and all I focused on was the drink I was holding and having fun with my best friend.

Of course, things don't always go that way.

I woke up the next morning with a hangover, along with the thoughts I kept pushing away.

He hasn't contacted me.

I don't think he will.

I refuse to check online and see photos of him after the race. I did know that he won after Max texted me about it, oblivious that he was never gonna see me on the paddock again. As a matter of fact, it was Max and Mick who kept messaging me, asking me what my plans were for summer break. Neither of them mentioned Charles, which makes me think he must've told them something. I don't know if I want to feel happy about that or not.

When I didn't reply to them, the two boys decided to bother Gabby instead until she grew irritated and sent them a photo of me as proof that I'm alive and well. After that, they each sent me one last message before they stopped.

Mick: Are you sure you're okay? Call me anytime if you need someone to talk to. Enjoy Mykonos!

Max: You and I are gonna have lunch together when you get back because I know something's wrong. Charles is acting like a dick and you've been ignoring me :(

Btw, tell Gabby we're having dinner back in Monaco as well, and no, you're not invited :)

When I asked my best friend about the Dutch driver, she simply looked at me and didn't say a thing.
