Hello y'all ! As I live in France and am french, there's a challenge they created at the Paris Japan Expo, in collaboration with a french manga edition and others, this is a mangaka challenge and so it is very very cool. Like I love writing and drawing and had a manga script I wrote like years ago but that I still love.
I will introduce this project here then, and may post pictures of my manga, if that's interesting to you of course. So the theme of the contest is "summer feeling" and I would actually have fitted in more if it was autumn feeling but it is not so... we'll deal with what we have. And yes I'm actually really writing this instead of working on my manga... well whatever here I am lets go !
So the mc is a girl, android like, her name is Kiku which means Chrysanthemum in japanese and can be written like this : 菊. It's a very cool flower that I learnt how to draw while this project, I will also learn eventually how to draw men characters becauseee yeah the second mc is a man ! His name is Masao which means deep blue, a reference to his eyes. Kiku :

I will learn how to draw victorian houses (Im gonna die) and has already worked on victorian clothes because as you can guess, the story will occur in a period similar to the victorian one with one anachronism which's the android girl. All I can say is that there are no dialogues until page 6, there will be like no making fun of something at all (I dislike jokes in writing), there will be cool piano scenes and really well designed characters (yes Im the one who draw this were you expecting me to criticize ???)
I'm ink drawing but have really much trouble with drawing straight lines without having it spill all around. And I scrapped one piece of paper on which there was my drawings yesterday...
