victorian, what a beautiful word... I love this period really much, and most of all enjoy the aesthetic that's linked to it, the flower language, the garnements, the writers, all that has a connection to this period is just excruciatingly wonderful to me.
I love how the fashion was with all its hidden things like how they used paddings and binding with corsetry and all this. I love lace and all this and that's how, I decided I wanted to sew victorian clothes and I will also try to grow some flowers victorian people enjoyed having in their garden at this time. Well I already did try to sew a corset but not with specific patterns, and it was pretty much awful... I think I will first try to make a waistcoat or a victorian-looking coat. As I'm a really much beginner with all this stuff I will search out some patterns I could copy and mix my own way to find how I want clothings to look like...
