Chapter 293

The rain is getting heavier and heavier.

The water spilled quickly into the mud, turning it sticky and wet, and Tang Erda followed the Spades with one foot deep and one foot shallow, almost losing sight of the fast-moving Spades ahead of him in the pouring rain.

Spades is clearly heading towards Lake Pluto.

The water on the ground gets deeper the closer we get to the lake, and by the end of the day it's already over the lower half of Tang Erda's body, with the Spades in front of him diving fish-like into the muddy water.

Tang Erda took a deep breath and jumped in with him.

The muddy water was murky, the rain pelting the surface, and the combination of artillery fire and gunfire from earlier had turned the water upside down so that nothing could be seen below the surface but wave after wave, and Tang Erda relied on his years of chasing people to keep up with Spades.

Every now and then some long, dark, snake-like creature slips by his flank, which Tang Erda dodges discreetly.

Spades swam fast, and it didn't take them long to reach the bottom of the lake.

The bottom of the lake was very different from when they had come over to place their guns earlier, with countless craters of all sizes, all blown out by shells.

But the water was deeper and the visibility was better, and Tang Erda could barely make out the Spades in the chaotic water, which he saw resting suspended under the water.

Spades then calmly removed a green, decomposing and moving piece of his left foot from the back of his waist and examined it carefully underwater like a probe.

Tang Erda looks in the direction of Spades' probe, and the bombed-out water reveals a peculiar layer of volcanic rock, over which flows a sticky layer of gooey, bituminous mud.

Spades hands Tang Erda the body piece, and Tang Erda tentatively plunges it into the pile of pitchy liquid.

[System Alert: Congratulations to player Tang Erda for triggering the corpse storage point - Pluto Lake Bottom]

[One point will be awarded for placing a whole body at the bottom of the lake, twenty points will be awarded for placing a whole body at the bottom of the lake, but twelve points will be awarded for placing a body at the bottom of the lake.]

[System Alert: The bottom of Pluto Lake is not yet occupied by player Tang Erda's camp. We regret to inform you that after joining the indigenous camp that owns Pluto Lake, or after helping your camp to occupy Pluto Lake, player Fang Ke will be able to earn points for this corpse.]

Slowly the corpse comes out of the mud and Spades holds on to the suspended corpse.

Tang Erda looks deeply at the bottom of the lake, then up at Spades, who opens his mouth slightly, with bubbles spilling out, and points upwards for Spades to come up for air.

Before they could rise to the surface, the water suddenly shook violently and Tang Erda looked up into the water, where the countless wooden boats suspended above suddenly burst into flames.

The burning boats hang overhead like clouds of fire appearing out of nowhere in a cloudy sky.

To take fire in heavy rain, there had to be something inherently wrong with the wooden boat, someone must have done something to it, such as dipping it in some special oil that turned the boat into a flammable object.

This simply wouldn't be an attack strategy that anyone on this side could pull off!

On the water.

The traditional natives, dressed in straw-rope drapes and feather-ringed hats, with guns and cannons raised, charged forward on rafts unpainted with red paint, a peculiar accent vibrating in their throats, and the man at the head, who was the one who had ritually beaten the head earlier, roared with a fierce gaze.
