-part two of adoration!!!
When melody verstappen undergoes a very public breakup with a famous Ferrari driver life just gets more and more hectic, especially as the singer is about to start her first ever tour.
"So you know the gender why can't we know?" Arthur asked annoyedly.
"Because it's fun to see you all guess." Charles replied smugly as he smiled at me brightly, we were both delighted with the gender of the baby although I doubt we would have been disappointed either way.
After the appointment at the doctors office we drove home, well he drove us home and we got ready for dinner as I'd arranged a dinner with his mum and brothers in this fancy restaurant I'd booked out.
A little while ago when Charles was drunk he'd told me he had always wanted to go places in his pyjamas but was scared of paparazzi or fans seeing him out in public, so I booked out the entire restaurant for us all to sit in our pjs in a fancy restaurant.
Pascale groaned "All I care about is that the baby is healthy that's the priority, would I like to also know the gender though? Yes."
"Sorry Pascale no can do." I chuckled as she just accepted we wouldn't tell anyone until the birth.
"So have you got names?" Lorenzo wondered as he continued to eat his steak.
We nodded, "We have options, not really a specific one yet, it's so difficult to name an actual human." I honestly replied.
"I mean I must say melody you are the most beautiful pregnant woman I've ever seen, I looked like an absolute wreck in all three of my pregnancies." Pascale admired as she sipped her wine.
Instantly I was shaking my head "Oh god no I'm an absolute state everyday, I bet you looked amazing."
Arthur shrugged "Nah melody you're really pretty generally and even pregnant, what the hell are you doing with my brother?"
"Good question." Lorenzo joked.
Charles laughed, "I wonder that a lot myself."
I hid my face in my hands, "I need to post on Instagram or something so people can humble me, you guys let it get to my head."
"So how many months are you now Mel?" Lorenzo wondered.
"7 and a half." Charles replied for me as I chewed on a French fry, not really hungry for actual food.
"Oh wow, at least Charles will be done racing by December so you won't have to worry about flying out at nine months." Arthur added.
We continued chatting for hours, I'd booked out the restaurant all evening so we had plenty of time to catch up with one another.
Since Charles is constantly flying around the world for the races he hardly sees his family despite the fact he lives in Monaco close to them.
Even when he's home he's doing training at the gym or looking for new cars, his car collection was insane, he has a Bugatti Chiron, Ferrari 488 Pista, Rolls Royce Wraith, Ferrari GTC4 Lusso, McLaren GT, Land Rover Discovery and a Jaguar XF.
It kind of nerves me actually that he will be driving our baby around in these insane speed cars, thankfully we'd bought a secure car seat.
