"Silent"

A kid who's bubbly, joyful, and fun. A person you can count on and talk with anytime. Busy or not, always makes time for you because they thought, you are worth it.
An accident happened.
Now the kid is deaf. Many people gave up communicating to the kid. Leaving them behind...
Alone and helpless.
The kid who was once ball of sunshine, now turned into a dark nimbus cloud. A complete opposite of what they before.
Someone who knows sign language communicate to the kid saying "Why so gloomy? What happened in that accident before?"
The kid answered "There's no accident. I just felt tired to do the same efforts every single day where everyone take advantage of it and returning nothing" She spoke in whisper tone
That someone blinks in disbelief "So you can hear all this time?!"
The kid smiles "I'm afraid so. Now I'm 'deaf' in their eyes, I'm now useless. Throwing me off the bridge like a thrash that runs out of usage" It smiles
"I always thinks, maybe.. being silent they'll appreciate me"
